Jiayi Li, M.D. — Local services in Mountain View

What a great doctor! He performed my first-ever colonoscopy and apparently quite expertly at that; not even a touch of discomfort during or after, despite the removal of a polyp. Additionally, he not only answered a detailed set of questions I messaged him (replying at 1:23am that evening!) but did so with thoroughness and good humor.

I was stunned to learn that he had performed 18 (!) other colonoscopies on the day he did my procedure. I guess it's no wonder he's such an expert doing these, but it is amazing he maintains such a friendly disposition all the while!

Additionally, his fellow professionals were all warm and helpful, really putting me at ease (wish I could remember their names so I could give them a shout-out!).

Definitely recommend Dr. Li and the Mountain View...

Dr. Jiayi Li did my colonoscopy and was fabulous. I did it without anesthesia and he explained everything as he went and was very gentle. During the part going between large and small intestine, his nurse did a fabulous job of applying pressure in the exact right spot such that it was smooth and did not hurt. I was very impressed by Dr. Jiayi Li and the and staff at Palo Alto Medical Foundation. Dr. Li is highly skilled, professional and has a lovely manner with his patients. The procedure was handled with sensitivity and a bit of humor, which I very much appreciated. The hospital staff were terrific.
