Cossey's Custom Cut Meats — Local services in Mustang

I feel terrible that I’ve been a patron of this place for YEARS, but only finally review them when I’ve had a less than satisfactory experience. As I said, I’ve been a FAITHFUL customer for probably 12-15 years. I’ve referred SO many people to Cossey’s. They’ve got a LOT of things going for them, and my previous experiences with them have been phenomenal. But LATELY something’s been off. I don’t know why, but I’ve been disappointed by the steaks I’ve been purchasing from them lately. I mean REALLY disappointed. And I’m choosing to buy my steaks from other places where I’m having better experiences (not dedicated meat markets). The last time I purchased from Cossey’s, I went straight to the display case and bought the “ugliest” (aka “the best”) T-Bone and Strip Steak and both of them were meh…and I feel terrible saying so. These good Christian folks deserve success, but they need to look closely at what’s going on with their product. I’m curious to know if others are having similar experiences. THE place to buy meat in the OKC area. Friendly knowledgeable staff and amazing cuts of meat. The only place I buy steaks. They will custom cut anything you like. You will never buy meat at Big Chain stores again. Seriously, get and try Ground Beef; IT HAS FLAVOR AGAIN! When you return get anything you want here. It's All fresh cut and they only use cows that haven't been on antibiotics, etc. No chemicals! No coloring! Never Frozen! What doesn't sell in 24hrs is marked down until it's gone the next day.
