Stopped for my first time to get popcorn as I was passing through Nac. Walked in and saw 8 people inside: 4 employees behind the counter working, one worker in an apron sitting a table talking to a friend, and 2 people stocking shelves off to the side. I stood at the counter for 7-10 minutes as the employees behind the counter made eye contact with me and continued to walk past, never saying a word. Finally, a guy behind the counter held something up to block his hand and called out to a female employee while pointing at me. “I think someone needs help.” Then I got to listen to them argue as she snaps back, “Oh? Because you’re so busy? What are YOU working on?” So finally I just walked out and as I’m walking out, the employee sitting a table talking to her friend yells out, “Thanks! Come see us again soon!” Those were the only worlds spoken to me inside the store… to which I replied, “No thanks, we won’t.”

As the door is closing, I hear, “We won’t…!?” Then, as I’m cranking my car that’s parked right outside the door, a lady runs out and knocks on my window. “Was there a problem?” I tell her, the owner of the store, what happened and that it’s a shame because first impressions are really important. I was no longer interested in buying anything from them, and told her, “Thank you ma’am, have a nice day.” She immediately put on a heavily sarcastic tone, gave me a thumbs up with a snarky smile and said, “Yep! You have a nice day too!”
