The Gilded Lily — Local services in Nampa

I had friends telling me this was an amazing spot and that it was perfect for me, and they were right! I went for the first time about a week ago, and I was hooked as soon as I walked in! It's a cute, cozy, mystical shop. Everything is laid out intuitively, categories grouped together and decorated beautifully. You can find books, talismans, and supplies all in the same spot for what you're needing. I spent an hour in this small space because there was just so much to look at and I wanted to take it all in. You could easily spend 3 or more hours in here if you really wanted to look at everything! It was like a mini compact version of a shop I used to go to in Portland, OR, called New Renaissance Bookshop (huge facility with just about everything you could think of) No matter what kind of mystical practice (divination, kitchen witchery, palm reading, tarot, astrology, numerology, crystals, garden witchery, foraging, candle magik, talisman making, mediumship, herbology, etc.), she's got the supplies and the books for you whether you're a beginner just barely getting into it or an experienced practitioner. And if the owner doesn't have it, she'll most likely try to order it for you. She's just the sweetest, kindest, most friendly and caring shop owner I've ever met! She runs this place herself, just barely being able to hire someone on as an employee. I say this because that is such an amazing accomplishment! This is a beautiful shop with such a wide variety, and this woman has done it solo, connecting with her community, and really listening to what the people want as well as just putting herself out there. This business deserves so much more attention, please check it out, please talk to the owner, and please help her continue to succeed with her small business. Let's make it a big business and help her upgrade to a larger building 🥰 She has big dreams, I want to help her make them come to life.

This shop is beautiful and the owner was so sweet and a delight to talk to!

The first time I popped into this store was several months ago, right after they opened for the day. There were a couple of girls opening, one of whom was having a really bad day. She was super upset and her conversation permeated the store, making shopping and the atmosphere really uncomfortable as it is a smaller space. I left that day without purchasing anything. I hope that whatever was going on was resolved in a good way. I am so glad that I came back and got to experience the shop as it was meant to be.

My sister in-law and I popped back in this weekend, and it was a wonderful experience. She is well stocked with everything you could want and or need for rootwork and other practices. Her prices are super fair and competitive. The store is lovely and full of so many little things you couldn't possibly see them all in one go. What a fantastic store! I seriously can’t say enough good things about this shop. It was full of the unique and quirky types of things I had been looking for. The vibe in the store was calm and joyous at the same time. There was a good selection of books, candles, decor, tarot and oracle cards, incense, a small selection of crystals, and the list goes on. I could have spent all day in the store just looking at all of the things. Every time I made a lap around it, I would spot something I had missed on my previous pass through. I’m pretty positive that if you’re looking for anything metaphysical or “witchy” this shop will have it. 10/10 would recommend and the next time I’m in town visiting family, we will all be making a stop at The Gilded Lily.
