Pacific Sushi — Restaurant in Nampa

Okay, I'd like to precede this review by telling you that I am literally a 16 year old child who goes to restaurants and if they get something wrong I just let it slide because I genuinely do not care. But, oh my god. This is, hands down, one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to in terms of customer service. The food was pretty good, but the employees were awful. The whole thing started out with a woman in a hoodie asking what we wanted to drink, and she was extremely cold about it. Like, just by stepping foot into this restaurant, we had already inconvenienced her. Then she asked whether my mom wanted sugar in her iced tea by yelling it across the room?? She comes back and takes our order for the actual sushi and decides not to write it down, and then comes back and takes it all over again and writes it down, and we had to clarify one simple things like 8 times. Seriously, all we wanted was to sub in cream cheese in place of avocado on one roll. The next thing was mostly our fault, because we forgot to specify that I had a shellfish allergy and my roll couldn't be on the same plate as the others, and we were extremely apologetic. This woman took back the plate, rolled her eyes and was extremely rude about it. We then got the rolls back and they took everything out of one of the rolls?? We ate and then went to pay and said that we weren't going to pay for that one roll and they argued with us for a good 10 minutes about why we sent the plate back in the first place. We sent it back because they couldn't be on the same plate, and they fixed that. But for some reason decided that them taking everything out of a roll was our fault. They were Overall, this restaurant is atrocious. Will not be going again. Just make your own sushi, there are tutorials all over the internet and you won't have to deal with the worst customer...

My server "Darlene" Did a good job. I have hearing trouble and it was a tad bit hard to hear her. She was sweet and proficient. The dinning area is table and chairs, no booths. I enjoyed the AYCES "All You Can Eat Sushi". I dinned alone... Wait till you see what I was able to eat. The only thing that tasted a bit strange was the eel sauce. Usually it's a molasses type consistency and dark in color. And just how I like it! There's is a different texture than I'm used to. It was good just different. I enjoyed the sushi all of it. Eel is my all-time favorite sushi rolls. Everything tasted fresh. The Sushi rolls could have been rolled a little tighter. I don't use chopsticks without the cheaters. And they don't give out cheaters. Darlene did take a small rubber band and twist it around the end of the chopstick with a little piece of paper stuck in between the chopsticks to give it a opening bouncy grab, homemade cheaters! Haha. Those chopsticks just squished every piece of sushi. So I ended up eating with my fingers! Place was clean. I went in at dinner time 4ish and left at 5:30ish. As I was leaving the place started filling up with people. I recommend this place! 🍙🍣 Pacific Sushi needs more business, we need to support our local sushi places. Or they could all go out of business. God forbid. I'll be back...

Im not usually one to complain that being said , I didn’t say anything to staff. If I could give this place a negative star I would! First off the waitress set down water glasses and said “soda machine down this is all I have” no offer of anything to compensate, then accidentally spilled my water, the waitress looked at me scrambling to clean it up and ignored the issue completely never any offer of assistance at all. At that point we should have got up and left but decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. Ooooh goodness were we wrong! The sushi (of you can call it that) was by far the worst food I have ever eaten. The avocado was brown (I get it oxidation but cmon’ it’s a restaurant) the sushi was dry and had a god awful smell and a nasty sugar sauce on everything. We ate very little and were ignored by our waitress the rest of the time. Upon payment she tried to add her own tip to the bill but didn’t do anything to earn a tip. Anyone who says this food is good is broken. I will never again visit this establishment. My only regret is not asking for a refund (which was and is totally justified) please, fix these issues...
