Boba Stop — Restaurant in Nampa

My second visit. The owner offered a refund. I decided to try a different drink so i was given a free drink and was supposed to get text a voucher for a second free drink. I still may get it. I hope. The 2 employees were nice. My drink was good. Lots of flavor. I went with jellies for this one and they are good. I appreciate the owner trying to make things right. So thats why i decided to get another drink instead of money back. Give them a second chance.

First time in shop. I asked a few questions. The lady kind of answered. I asked for opinions on what goes best together. She didn't know. I know its mostly personal preference but could have given suggestions since it was my first time. I ordered a blended mango matcha with black pearls. Taste was very mild. And the pearls were hard in the middle. I know they are new but if you open a specialty shop you should know how to make a good product. Maybe over time it will get better. For now I feel I waisted my money. I only drank 1/4 of the cup and threw it away. The taste needs to be stronger and the pearls need to be made right. I doubt I will be back. I am shocked at the service i got at BobaStop. The employees were absolutely amazing and so friendly! I was not expecting this. The drawings on the chalk board gave a whole new level on comfortability and safeness. I felt so welcomed that I stayed the whole day and just chatted with the workers. I don’t even feel like going home now. An amazing experience and they should expect to see me here again at opening. I am baffled at the quickness of service, considering I came in with a group of friends. The cleanliness of the store was unbelievably amazing and tots unexpected. One thing that was kinda unsettling was the lime and watermelon drawing. although it is still absolutely precious, still a little terrifying. Last note is the hard working workers here, so amazing! I was so excited when I heard a new boba place was opening up in Nampa, however I was honestly pretty disappointed when I tried their drinks. The tapioca pearls are an alright texture, but the flavor is extremely lacking. Taro tea tasted alright, but other flavors just felt off, especially when getting a fruit flavor- it gives off an icky melted sorbet/milkshake taste. The jellies were hard (literally had to snap it in half with my teeth) and also had barely any flavor. It's clear they just use flavor powders and mix it with milk, not very good. If you've never had boba before you might like it, but if you're looking for something really good (and are willing to make the commute), Urban fox in Meridian will always be my first and favorite choice.
