Very disappointed with this salon today. I called a day before to see if there were any openings for a balayage and trim for the next day - the guy that I spoke with to on the phone told me the hair stylist that I usually see was not available, but another one was for 12pm. I decided that it was fine, thanked him for getting me in last minute. He asked for my information and supposedly "put me in" for 12. I show up at 12 the next day, only to find out that someone is scheduled for a balayage but it is not me. They double booked me. They called the other person and that person never answered their call and never even showed up. 15 minutes later the lady up front comes to tell me they have a 20 minute waiting policy and don't want to keep me waiting in case the other person shows up. She already had me wait 15 minutes what's another 5?? The other person wasn't going to show up when they never called or answered their call anyway. I heard the receptionist talking to the hair dresser and the hair dresser clearly just didn't want to do her job today and see me. Very incovenient for me to go out of my way, show up on time for MY appointment and get sent home even though the other person never even showed up. I get mistakes happen, if the other person had showed up I wouldn't be so upset but NO ONE was there to see this particular hair dresser except for me.    Read moreUPDATE: It has been almost 3 weeks and I have yet to hear back from the manager. No one EVER answers the phone. I didn't get a call back for a week and when I did it was someone telling me "the manager was on vacation this week". Ok so why didnt they call me the week before or the week after their vacation?? The person I spoke with, Liza, said she would speak to the stylist and then call me back the next day. That was 12 DAYS AGO. I have called again this week and left a message asking to speak to the manager. Complete disregard. I have yet to get my hair fixed elsewhere because I want my money back and have offered to Liza to come in and show them proof that the haircut is messed up. So I've spent 3 weeks with a haircut that is messed up and makes me so unhappy and no one there cares at all! DONT GO HERE! ...................................................... I just got the worst cut of my life! I went home with wet hair and blow dried it at home. That's when I noticed every section that I check is not even. The left side very obviously longer than the right. It is not properly layered, and looks horrible! I wanna cry. I don't know how someone listed as "A Master Stylist and has been working at JCP Salon for 20+ years" can possibly be this bad, and still be working there, let alone for 20+ years!    Read moreI walked into the salon with an idea for something bold. I spoke with a few members of the staff, all very pleasant, and then I spoke to Leah Liqui. What a lady! Not only did I have arguably the best haircut I have ever had, but the wonderful personality of this woman is infectious. The long process of letting the dye set, washing it out, and styling it was filled with lively conversation between myself and Leah. It was an absolute pleasure to do business with her! I would tell anyone who asked for a place to go look beautiful to go...
