GameStop — Local services in Nashville-Davidson

Money doesn’t mean anything but it’s the principle that matters. I hate writing bad reviews but unfortunately I have write one for this store. Don’t ever pre-ordered from this store. Dishonest store. There was a mix up at the store. One of their former employee who was fired from what I was told to us he didn’t place the Harry Potter order correctly. We have waited patiently for them to fix the matter ( several weeks and months). One the manager said they are working on it and it would be coming in few weeks. Well it was a lie. Came back 6 weeks and the manager was fired as well. Which didn’t make any sense. We called the store every other week to check status. Well we came back in the store to today. Close out the account and get a refund. We were told no because we didn’t have original card. Unfortunately that card was lost. And the manager said couldn’t do anything except for us to buy something. I won’t buy anything at this store. As a former general manager of chain stores. The way I was treated was so much unprofessional and the people aren’t serious about their job making sure the customer is satisfied and what they preordered was correct. I’m very disappointed. When Switch 2 launched, I came here to ask if they had any left. The guy behind the counter laughed in my face and simply repeated my question to me sarcastically, so I left. Came in today bright and early for a free Pokémon promo code. The exact same guy, smug as could be, told me that I had to make a purchase for the code and they would only give them out after they sold all their product.

I pulled up the website to confirm that it says no purchase necessary and he tells me that it's up to the store. Gamestop's official Twitter confirmed there are no purchases for this silly code. He did eventually give me the code holding it out saying, "Code?" like a offering a dog a treat. I see some old positive reviews for this location.
