First time ordering & eating at this location, and it was a terrible experience. Came in a solid hour before close, but they were already out of sour cream, half the meat options, the fajita vegetables, just to name a few...and the bins in the counter were clean & empty, so it was obvious that they hadn't just run out of those things shortly b4 I came in. It would have been helpful if they'd told me abt everything they were out of prior to starting to make my food as well, as opposed to telling me piecemeal as I tried to add those things in, bc I probably wouldn't have ordered any food at all if I'd known that half the things I wanted weren't available. Then, at the end, I tried to use a digital coupon for a free side of guacamole, but the computer wouldn't apply it, and the mgr just flat out refused to honor it, claiming that there were restrictions on using it despite the fact that none of these "restrictions" were noted whatsoever within the fine print of the coupon's 'terms of use'. I almost just walked out at that point w/o any food, and I REALLY wanted to, but I also really hate to waste food & I knew if I did, they would have to just throw away what was already made. So I just ended up paying the $15 for an entree (missing half of what i had wanted to begin with) & a side of guacamole (no chips) & left. I get home & the food I did get was not good at all. The new spicy chicken w pineapple meat they've been marketing was super dry, unevenly seasoned, and while it did have heat to it, there wasn't really any sweet to it@all. The amt of cheese on it, for a quesadilla, was extremely stingy. And the guacamole was very, very bland - it tasted way more like pureed avocado than it did guacamole. All around, it was an extremely frustrating &...
Read moreI visited the West Nashville location on a beautiful spring Saturday afternoon. There is an expansive outside patio with plenty of seating in good weather. There's also a Starbucks next door for a caffeine boost after your meal. It's just down the street from West Nashville Mall if you're shopping.
You're probably familiar with Chipotle. It's a franchise casual Mexican restaurant. Like Moe's, Q'doba, Taco Laredo and others, you can get various Tex-Mex ingredients in/on a burrito, bowl, salad or tacos.
I've always noticed that Chipotle fans are fiercely loyal. The Mrs. gave an audible gasp and insisted we pull in as we drive past. Since, I just described 3 other places with the same theme/set up; I've never understood why Chipotle is so popular . The answer is fresh clean flavors. Chipotle succeeds in attention to detail in quality ingredients. Try them all and choose for yourself, but I think Chipotle tastes better. The only thing missing is a self serve salsa bar which let's excessives drown their food in salsa, but that's probably a good thing!
While I can't give any chain restaurant more than 3 stars because they're just so commonplace, Chipotle is definitely worthy...
Read moreboth on door and website says open at 10:45 am. i arrived at the location at 10:47am when i went to open the doors they were locked. the workers appeared disorganized and obviously unready at opening time. a worker with blonde hair in a braide looked and me and mouthed “not open” and proceeded to work nonchalantly while we was standing outside. worked preceded to try and avoid eye contact with me while i stood outside. sad to say i did not experience great service. when we were let in at 11:03. we were not told sorry for the wait nor a warm welcome in. i asked what time they opened and said 10:45 and said they were shorted handed which is not a problem i understand. i told them a little communication goes a long way because there was a few people who left due to them not being open on time and the amount of time we had waited. the young man said “they are free to eat someone else”. when he was taking my order i felt rushed out. the food was cold (i have a 5 min ride home) and did not seem fresh. quality of the food was disappointing such as the service. if i can get a review in the negatives i would...
