Consider this star to be in the negative column. The worst Target experience yet (of many)at the Rivergate store which is headed straight down hill. I arrived to the checkout and had to wait 15 minutes for the two people in front of me to be scanned and Checked out. Apparently there was a problem with the printer for the receipt. It happens but target was acting like it was not an inconvenience. I was next but I had to push a cart full of merchandise to the side to make it to the conveyer. That should have been a sign to get out while I could. Scanning my 6 items and getting a receipt took another 15-20 minutes. The printer jammed and instead of being able to go to an open register and reprint the manager had to scan all the items again to get the total/exact dollar amount adding it up by hand with pen and paper to look up the receipt to be able to print it. Oh and they also need the last 4 of the card to find it. Then Raquel goes back in the office for 15 minutes at least and comes out as if nothing is wrong. She handed me two pieces of paper and I was hoping for at least a sorry but nope! “Here’s your receipt” was all she said. I explained at the very least that she, if not the General Manager, could go to them to ask for a $5 gift card for this poor customer who has been waiting so patiently. She said Oh you want a $5 gift card OK I’ll give you one…which I quickly declined. She treated me as if I was panhandling for a $5 gift card. My advice to her was to take the $5 herself and put it towards management courses. Being a business owner and General Manager myself I know what it takes to deliver great customer service. This was NOT IT and Raquel needs to head over to Dollar General to get a cashiers job! I will not return to this Target and I would recommend to all to stay clear. My next communication is now going to be...
Read moreNah if your a toy collector this store is probably not the store your going to find anything. The past few months the normal toy guy wasn’t really working toys and you could find anything. Hot Wheels, Action figs, basically any hot item.. Well the toy guy comes back and nothing and it was like this before they moved him. I asked about a certain toy just to be told it hasn’t come in, other collectors have asked about them (the same toy) and he will say they aren’t getting them, another collector asked about the same toy and he said they are sold out. This all being the same day so how is that possible.. I recently seen the Rivergate Target toy guy in three other Targets on the same day cleaning out toys.. Basically he is using Targets inventory system and cleaning out the town. There are toys that never make it to the shelf at this store, you always and I mean always have to get some one to look for it in the back and this has been happening since way before the pandemic.. This employee is as shady as they get. #notagoodstore...
Read moreI usually don’t leave negative reviews even when I have a bad experience, however this location has the absolute worst shopping experience. Waited for almost 15 minutes to get one of the shelves unlocked because of course they’ve got half the stuff at the store locked up. Usually not an issue if someone is close by to unlock it but waiting 15 minutes for 1 item is ridiculous. Other times I’ve been I’ve also waited 10+ minutes for a single item. They also have the self checkout lines blocked and have been for months. Then 1 of the 2 cashiers they had was absolutely glued to her phone to the point where the other cashier had a line of 5-6 people and had to tell the other customers that the other cashier was open. Then while she’s checking someone out she’s still on her phone. I don’t care if an employee is on their phone while there’s nothing going on but if you have a line of customers that is absolutely unacceptable. I love shopping at target but I will never come back to...
