While there have been times when we've received good service at the Neenah location, we are now dealing with a second instance where we were told one thing & our statement reflected something different. The first time was when my boys' plans were leveled up to include hotspot & extras that they didn't need. Thankfully that was caught & remedied within a few months (takes a while to catch due to the first couple months having all the prorated charges & changes), but still cost us a decent amount. This time they convinced us to upgrade my husband's phone (still had a $140 balance) to receive the promotion where his monthly phone payment would be reimbursed the following statement over the course of 36 months. It would make more sense financially. Well, nope. After paying off his original phone & signing the contract for the phone THEY picked out to match the promotion, we find out there was no promotion eligible for the one they suggested & we essentially bought my husband a new phone unnecessarily. Considering this isn't the first time we've been told one thing in the store & find out we've been told wrong by an increased amount due on our statement, this time to the tune of close to $1,000, we will never trust this location enough to return. Before you know it you're spending hundreds of dollars without even knowing it. Ask clearly how much is your phone. Make sure you qualify for any sale price. Ask about all the charges you'll be paying the day or purchase and on your first bills. You may need to ask multiple times or ask in specific ways. Whatever you do, read what you sign first and ask questions before you sign. Especially how much the price is of the phone your purchasing. If you have a limited data plan, make sure they use the WiFi for anything they do on your new phone like downloading apps and updating your contacts.
