Food Lion — Local services in New Bern

Greeter @entrance was EXCELLENT, OUTSTANDING! Ladies who emptied my cart & checked me out were just as good! I was not feeling well so they led me over to bench to be seated. I gave checker my credit card. They did everything else for me. Greeter even walked me to car & emptied my cart, putting groceries in my car for me! THIS kind of customer assistance will keep me coming back to Food Lion instead of Publix or Harris Teeter or, yes, even WalMart, even if pricing happens to be a few pennies higher (which it NEVER is). Please keep up the customer focused treatment by your employees. Your customers notice...even the ones who don't say...

I used the shop and go pickup option for the first time today and Mona was my shopper. She updated me as things changed and needed to be substituted as she shopped, and was very helpful and thankful with me. As well as Catherine/Caroline (unsure of why her name was) brought out my order and was very helpful and pleasant to speak with. Both were happy and willing to be helpful and I appreciate it!

Was standing by the door waiting for store to open. Store hours 7am-11am. It is 7:02am. Employee walks by me to enter store we exchange good morning. He disappears momentarily then walks to other entrance opens door for 2 customers approaching from parking lot. Disappears in the store ignoring me. He knew I was waiting at the door.
