AWFUL customer service! this was my first time ever going into a James Avery and I will never return to any location because of how poor the customer service was here. I walked into the store looking for a Mother’s Day gift and it was very busy , which I COMPLETELY understand, and as I walked in I wasn’t helped but the people behind me and in-front of me were ... I thought maybe they assumed I was with another party or hadn’t seen me, but after 10 minutes of just walking around and searching for someone to ask for help I grew a little impatient. The only upside to this whole experience was one employee who helped and I wish I would have gotten her name ! She directed me through the whole process and then took me to the line where I waited to be checked out. As I was waiting in line, the employee who was helping check people out completely skipped over me and took the paper from person behind me ! Not to mention that she had taken the paper from person in front of me, so she knew I was next in line. I don’t see how any of this was an accident and I really do not believe that it was. I don’t know if I was treated differently because of the way I dressed (which was just casual by the way!) but I have read previous reviews on this location about the staff being snotty towards appearance, which is VERY unprofessional might I add . The service here was so awful that I would like to let the people who read this know that I went out of my way to write my first ever google review on this place. Read moreLove their Jewelry!! I have had a James Avery cross and chain for a few years now, it is very special to me. The other night i was assulted pretty bad on my nightly jog and my necklace was pulled from my neck. I found the cross but no sign of the chain. We went shopping here yesterday for our daughters birthday present, I know they have a lifetime warranty on all their jewelry so i figured I'd ask about the loss of my chain. The sweet lady helping us informed me they could only repair jewelry, which is completely understandable , not even 10 minutes later she approached us and told me she had talked to her supervisor and they were going to replace my chain!! I was in tears! Not only do they have gorgeous, meaningful jewellery, they have kind people who care. We have shopped at James Avery for years and have always been satisfied, after the traumatic even i experienced these ladies restored my faith in humanity! Thank you & God bless you...
Read moreWent into this James Avery today with a ring that the stone had fallen out, apparently they now use double stick tape to hold the stones in. The store manager refused to take the time to talk to me and they refused to repair the ring, only offered to buy it back at half price if we bought the exact same ring, so basically charging me 50% to repair the ring I bought from them. Having bought Jewely from James Avery for well over 20 years this company just lost a customer who will now find another jeweler to buy several pieces of jewelry each year. It really stinks when a manufacture does not stand by their product.
