Dollar Tree — Local services in New Britain

Over the last 6 months this store has no regular hours. Supposedly it's due to "staffing issues" It's hit or miss if they will be open. I actually just called today to see if what there hours would be today and was told "I don't know what our hours will be today due to staffing" I asked the person how can they run a business like this? and the person hung up on me. There is no level of customer service at this store. Corporate should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this store to remain open. its a disgrace. I've gone there about 6 or more times in the past during their "normal business hours" only to be turned away by either a sign or manager telling me they are closing early. Unbelievably...

Last time I was here an older lady who worked there kept asking me why I needed this or that and where she shops to get the same items I was buying much cheaper (although in bulk). Next time instead of feeling like I had to justify every purchase which came to over $100 (my sisters and mine combined necessary household items), I will just leave the cart at the register so she has to put the stuff away. Not normally would I feel like I had to be vindictive but people in customer service really should not be so miserable and downright nasty to the customers helping pay...

This place is a joke. The staff is never at the registers, if they are, they are chit chatting with each other and completely ignore the customers.

This place is never stocked, ever. They constantly run out of bags, and their isles get stocked maybe once every 3 months.

This place is often packed full of elderly people buying 80 items, so even if you’re just grabbing one thing, expect to wait in like for 20 minutes.

It also literally stinks like poop half the time.
