Rockwell Framing — Local services in New Canaan

Steve at Rockwell frames’ work is top notch. I only trust Rockwell with any valuable art or memorabilia. He has so many frames and mats and his pricing is fair. He knows how to make a piece museum quality protected and displayed. He did an incredible job with a 2 sided tedious but sentimental piece and reframed a valuable etching beautifully that I had previously mounted, floated and framed at a different local framers that was TOTALLY botched. Do not want to name names but that framers’ name rhymes with “Lark“ - he taped this piece right to the wrong color (yellow!) mat in the wrong dimensions with double sided tape that is not removable. Steve had to cut that matte and hide it behind the piece and put the other well matched matte we chose around it. “Lark” also had driven screws right into the frame, and put the glass right up against the paper of the art piece. Not only were the dimensions wrong but it was not museum quality archival framing.
