I have been a regular here since 2021 never had a real issue. I recently was hospitalized for a week and desperately needed a good callus treatment which I expressed over the phone before coming in. They placed me with a new guy who was super rude from the jump; bring extra aggressive except for when it came to my callus treatment, in which he was super soft and quick with barely removing any dead skin; which was the only real reason I left straight from the hospital and rushed there to be serviced for. When I asked him if he was done with the first foot, he rolled his eyes , sighed, got an attitude, and said yes.I ignored the initial disrespect and asked if it was possible for him to do the foot again because I have a lot of dead skin.He immediately began getting loud and telling me he wasnât doing it again. I told him I was a regular and Iâm paying for the service so I didnât understand why he was getting an attitude and couldnât go over it⌠he then called me STUPID , slammed his materials on his cart and stormed off. I hate to be that person but I canât help but think it was racially motivated. I donât know this man from anywhere and I wasnât rude at all and because I was still weak from the surgery I didnât even yell back. The manager and techs who I have seen and been serviced by on numerous occasions all quietly stared as I paused in shock, confusion, and disappointment. After about 2 minutes no one did or said ANYTHING. I walked out feet wet and went to nova nails, literally a minute away and they gave me the best set Iâve had since I moved over here. Iâm super saddened and disappointed given how much money I have spent at this shop over the years and for no one to do or say anything after this new guy blatantly and loudly disrespected me. Needless to say I will NEVER BE BACK and I suggest you steer clear. If your looking for a shop near by check out Nova nails literally just a minute away , super chic, and they offer champagne, snacks, and great customer service. I would have avoided leaving a review had my phone call been answered but they seem to be...
Read moreCustomers, youâd want to read this entire messageâŚmake decisions and ask questions about the prices youâve been given. Absolutely nothing wrong doing so. No basic price manual and they just throw numbers randomly, which never matches the next time you come for same thing. They get grumpy about you asking as if itâs not your hard earned money. Respect to the service but spell your prices out and stop ripping people off.
I never rate but I think itâs time to start speaking up.
*April was the last time I visited and decided I wasnât coming again due to the unpredictable prices even after youâve shown them the designs and shape of a full set.
Customerâs services = poor except for some specific individuals.
*Unprofessionalism when you refuse service from someone who has done a terrible job in you in the past. As in, gel nail polish shipping on a 3rd day and edges of the acrylic recedingâŚto name a few.
I went this time because my daughter had a hair appointment next door and it made more sense to avoid the traffic to new spot.
Went in for a refill and ended up paying more than I paid for a full set and pedi combined in my new regular spot. Guys, donât be scared to explore other options.
$30 to just pedi gel color change, not pedicure. Was about to be charged to put a 4th color coat because it was a different color.
$30 to design 4 nails and the explanation was because they used more than 6 nail polishes. The $10 surcharge was because of extra dots in more colors? Mind you, these were dots and linesâŚnot encapsulation or rhinestones. We didnât pour the entire nail polish in my nails.
I specified these two above because those stood out because of the explanations I was given. Iâm a regular in nail salons; I am known to bling out my nails too. It sad how greedy this...
Read moreIâve been here once (plus my sister once) andâwowâconsistency is their strong suit, just not in a good way. The salon looks clean enough, but professionalism/customer service? AWFUL.
First visit: iPad check-in not working, no one at the desk, staff busy doing their own nails and sipping drinks. After an awkward few minutes of them debating in English and then Spanish whoâd âtake meâ (I speak Spanish too, by the way) an Asian woman in the back finally stepped in after hearing the commotion to help.
Second round: my sister, same chaotic energy. She walked in, got ignored, staff doing their own nails, a debate ensued about who would do the nails, when finally someone agreed to do her nails but proceeded to multitask my sister's nail service with their own--meaning, between doing her nails, they were doing their own manicure and watching a show on their phone. Service quality: through the ground and into the sewer level.
To their credit, both myself and my sister noted that this tall, young guy that works there was polite and seemed competent along with the asian lady that ultimately tended to me. If you must go, request the guyâand triple-check prices, since ours mysteriously jumped from $15 to $20 in a week for the same simple service of an acrylic nail removal. The only difference was that I asked to confirm the website price before being tended to, meanwhile my sister did not. The website still says $15 on the day of her service, but she didn't want to fight for $5 more, she was just ready to get out of there and I don't fault her. They didn't even buff or file her nails.
Bottom line: youâre better off doing your nails at home or literally...
