Avigail Adam Jewelry — Local services in New Hope

I had the absolute worst experience buying high-end jewelry in my life. I purchased $400 worth of jewelry (two pieces) because I liked the design and planned to wear it for my wedding. However, when I got home, I realized it didn't fit well with my wedding dress. The next day, I went to return the set and was told that all sales are final. I was shocked because no one informed me of this policy, and they purposely didn't even provide me with a receipt.

When I mentioned that I wasn't told the jewelry was a final sale, the salesperson pointed to a small piece of paper behind her, stating all sales are final. This notice is completely obscured when the salesperson stands in front of the counter. This is unacceptable, especially considering the high prices they charge. It's a scam and an incredibly bad customer experience.

I've purchased a lot of high-end jewelry in other stores in the past, and a 30-day guarantee was always part of the deal. To make matters worse, when I spoke to the salesperson, she called the owner twice. When I asked to speak with the owner, she refused, saying she had four kids and was busy. Apparently, customers who feel cheated and unsatisfied are not her priority.

This was the worst experience I've ever had, and they've lost a customer who could have been loyal for life. I am still waiting for the call back from the owner. Just...

Saw the Avigail Adam booth at the NY Ren Faire and tried on some of her hairpins, but couldn't commit to getting one. But when I got home, I really regretted not buying one. Luckily, I was visiting New Hope a few days later and was able to pick one up from the store! I've got to say, these pins are so good! I have a lot of very silky Asian hair and the pin is able to hold everything up tightly and comfortably. The owner was wonderful in helping me to try on the pins I liked and showing me how to use them properly. It takes a bit to learn how to get it to stay secure, but once you do, it feels so much better than a hair elastic or some other pins that snag and pull. Also, everything in the store is GORGEOUS! The pieces really make you feel special and beautiful. Definitely would recommend this store to anyone looking for some unique jewelry and hair...

Beautiful items but a disappointing experience. I bought a beautiful ring about three weeks ago and wore it for a few days before it turned my finger green. Turns out, the silver rings are not Sterling silver but silver-plated brass. I went back today to exchange it for a gold or rose gold version but the owner told me she couldn't exchange it because the ring had been "worn in." I don't understand how that's possible, given I only wore it for maybe 4 days. She told me she couldn't give me a refund either but offered to sell me a new ring at half price. I'm now out $40 for the first ring, which is unwearable for me, as well as $20 for the second. Very frustrating all around, and although her pieces are lovely, I don't imagine I would buy from her...
