My Husband and I got a recommendation for Wellington and Co about 2 years ago when we were looking for engagement rings. We are from Atlanta, but were having a hard time finding sapphire engagement rings locally. We ended up taking a trip down to New Orleans and checked this store out. From the minute we walked in, we were treated with respect and Ryan actually listened to what we wanted. We ended up getting a custom sapphire engagement ring, which is gorgeous! My husband ended up setting up a private meeting with Ryan to look at sapphires. Ryan arranged the meeting and had a custom made menu of about 8 different sapphires for Daniel to pick from along with his favorite Beer. What amazing service! A year later we went back to check out wedding bands, once again Ryan had a great presentation for Daniel's bands as well as my own. We ended up getting both of our bands custom made as well. I had also been searching for a watch for Daniel's wedding present for months, and they even had a vintage Cartier watch that he actually liked! Such an ease! I came in a couple of months ago with some gold rings and watches. The one woman advised me she is part owner and can look at what I have even though she isnt an expert. The woman basically laughed me out of the store saying my things are worth next to nothing while making it sound like I was a tire kicker because I was interested in having a ring made. She made it sound like I had no money and couldnt afford the store's services. Fast forward a couple of months. I have a vintage rolex to sell and guess what? Lee Michaels in Metairie is excited to worth with me despite not appearing as though I have the money to afford their store. They are getting $50k worth of business from me because they arent above treating me like I have value.
