My daughter and I came to New Orleans to get an experience of Mardi Gras and their great food. We seen pier 424 and seen they had seafood and was the closest place to us. So we went in ,there was an 45 mins wait. They text our phone saying table ready so we was maybe 2mins away from the place received another text seconds later as weâre walking in saying we had 2mins to get to our table before itâs given away. We was still able to sit down. So our waitress comes takes our drink order we ordered Shirley temples soda. She came back few mins saying sorry forgot what drinks you wanted we told her again. She comes back with these drinks called hurricane donât know if they had alcohol in them or not( my daughter is only 18). So we sent the drinks back cause thatâs not what we asked for plus wasnât sure about the alcohol. She said sorry she made a mistake and that drinks was on the house so we just asked for regular sprite soda at this point. So she brings us that and also the Shirley temples cause they finally got the drinks right. So we are now ordering our food. Sorry our story is long, but we ordered Our food i gotten stuff shrimp Alfredo and my daughter got snow crabs boiled without no sausage cause we donât eat red meats. When we got our bill i noticed so many charges that wasnât correct. They had charged us $7.50 for extra corn( we didnât asked for) they charged us $18 for the hurricane drinks( we didnât ask for) and the lady told us the seafood boil was $30 that turned out to be $59. Our waitress was so rude after being told that things were placed on our bill that we didnât order, even at one point she came over to our table and took our drinks and said since you didnât pay for these we have to take them ( mind you she messed up our order not us ) so now we have no drinks and Iâm pissed off cause what an experience. Once our bill was corrected I ended up saving $36 wow, they really was about to charge me $36 if i had not payed attention. So yea I say all this to say we...
Read moreFor the love of God do not order through their âwebsiteâ for delivery just order through uber eats. Their bar tender must be on something because I placed my order at 7:50pm. I ordered crawfish and gator bites. The first person got there around 8:00pm and the bar tender Fox told them that they didnât have crawfish but they had the gator bites. Around 8:30ish I received notification from another uber eats driver saying they didnât have crawfish but they had the gator bites. I let the driver know that I had just spoke with someone and I informed that driver that I wanted to cancel the order. They told me okay. I was contacted again around 10:00pm again being told the same thing, I informed that person this order had been cancelled. I called the restaurant and spoke with Fox he told me that they didnât have a website and that they do not do carry out or delivery orders. I informed him that through their website it has order for delivery and it brings you to the Creole Cuisine restaurant concepts website and you place the order there and itâs delivered through uber eats. He was rude and disrespectful on the phone telling me that they do not do that and their website does not have that and I didnât know what I was talking about. Fox informed me that all orders go through him and he had not seen my order and everything goes through him so he would know what was ordered because he handles them all. I told him clearly he does not because he has spoke to multiple people about this order and he doesnât remember. I hung up with him to call my bank since their website leads you to a fraudulent website since they do not have a website or do online orders. Please see attached...
Read moreThis place was so good that we returned for a second trip!
The first to get a quick bite to eat before a tour, so we ordered something small. I ordered the Chicken Andouille Sausage Gumbo while my wife ordered the Crab Cakes.
As a Mexican, I like my food spicy, and the gumbo did not disappoint! It was the perfect amount of spice for me, but may be spicy for those who aren't used to eating spicy food. The only complain I have about the gumbo was that it wasn't enough. My wife really enjoyed the crab cakes and would recommend them to any crab cake fans.
We went back the following day for lunch, and we got to sit in the balcony where we had it to ourselves up until another couple came when we were finishing up. I ordered the Red Beans & Rice with Crispy Chicken and my wife ordered the Sweet Pecan Fish (it caught her eye the night before). The fish plate was sweeter than she expected, and she enjoys her sweets. It's not too sweet where she wouldn't recommend it. As for the chicken I had, it was the BEST crispy chicken I ever had. I've been to various southern cities claiming to have the best chicken. This place does not make that claim but boy did it win against the other places I've been too. The red beans and rice were a great portion to go with the chicken and I left extremely satisfied. I'd go back for that chicken day of the week.
The staff are extremely nice and professional both visits we were there. Don't pass on this place when looking for a...
