If you don't know 'bout Louis Coluccio 's A.L.C grocery, you need to familiarize yourselves with one of Bay Ridge's most fantastic procurers of gourmet Italian goods.

Their shelves are chock full of specialty epicurean delights, their hot prepared food, myriad salads, their FAMOUS selection of international cheeses, olives, freshly baked bread & imported cold cuts are ALL ALWAYS above and beyond delicious & to top it off, the people behind the counter are knowledgeable, personable & not skimpy with the portions!!!

if you haven't tried them out, you should RUN there STAT... One try & you'll more than likely be adding them to your regular rotation!!!!!!!!

I have been a costumer at this place for many years and today the workers at this store are very disrespectful. They wanted to charge $ 14.50 for non toasted ciabatta with 6 slices of provolone cheese. MIND YOU, I GOT THE SAME SANDWICH LAST WEEK (just a ciabatta with 6 slices of provolone) FOR $6.00 dollars. They wanted to charge me the price of the “VALENTINA SANDWICH” which is with mozzarella cheese, rucola, pesto, prosciutto crudo and balsamic vinegar. I was told by them that if I did not like the way it is, if I don’t like the price , I SHOULD GO TO THE SUPERMARKET instead. I was very disappointed by them. I then told them to give me 6 slices of cheese and ciabatta separately and guess what? I PAID $6.00 total. I was also accused today from the same worker that I DID NOT PAY FOR THE SEPARATE LOAF OF BREAD that I got when I did pay for everything I had to pay for. This place will never see me...

Ordered for delivery and both times have been great. This time, I got their Sandwich Time Special and Chefs Choice Side. The Sandwich Time Special includes a panini with house made fresh mozzarella, pesto (nut free), tomato, and greens, a bag of chips, a chocolate chip cookie, and a drink. I think it's an amazing deal. The panini was enough for me to save half for the next day. The cookie was huge and honestly one of the best cookies I've ever had. I'm usually picky with cookies since most tend to be too sweet for me, but this cookie was the perfect amount of sweetness. The spicy chips were good, but way too spicy for me. I would definitely get this meal again with a different bag of chips. The Chefs Choice Side of the day was a refreshing...
