This is the second time that this place has screwed up an order, and it’s not just any order, it’s about a $400 order every time. I went a week ago and ordered a cake for my daughter’s 40th birthday. I gave her pictures to show her exactly what I wanted. When she gave me a price, I never said a thing to her. I accepted it, and gave her a $100 deposit. She told me she would send me a picture of the cake when it was finished, so that I can see it and give her my ok. Today, I needed to pick up the cake at 3:00. I was a little puzzled why she didn’t send me a picture of the cake, but I thought maybe she was too busy. When she brought out the cake, I thought it was a joke. She told me she couldn’t do the exact same thing, so I asked her why she wouldn’t call me and talk to me before she finished the cake. She had no answer. I then told her to try and put some glitter on it to make it look like a 40th birthday cake, because it looked like she had plastered it on. Not only was she difficult to convince to fix up the cake, but she also gave attitude. I was so tired that I just said “just pack it up and give it to me.” DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. It’s always a last minute thing where they do not get what you want. Last minute, there’s no way you can get another cake.

After reading your reply, I find it necessary to answer you. While we were ordering the cake, the woman taking the order was doing all the drawing. She never showed me what she was drawing and I left specific pictures of what I wanted. Lying doesn’t get you anywhere. After tasting the cake yesterday, I confirmed that your products are of no substance. While cutting the cake, it crumbled because the cake itself was old. Instead of concentrating on creating review responses with AI, I suggest you concentrate on improving your products. Your prices are not cheap, and your product does not live up to customer expectations. It was only after you realised that the frosting looked like plaster that you started to scramble to try to fix somehow. I am very sorry, I never review, but I found it necessary to protect others. I had ordered a birthday cake over the weekend for my son’s 1st birthday at this place. All I requested was a naked cake (simple, no fancy decoration or design) with fresh strawberry AND cream inside. I went in person to place my order and a kind worker helped me through this process. I specifically told him exactly what I wanted and showed him the photo of the cake - the worker was the one who filled out the cake order form for me. I paid the deposit and left.

The cake was ready for pick up Saturday afternoon, from the outside it was exactly what I had ordered but little did I know, the inside of the cake was NOT what I ordered and found out when it was too late. We celebrated my son’s birthday Sunday, after singing “Happy Birthday” we cut into the cake and come to find out there was VERY PINK AND VERY BRIGHT icing inside. Absolutely no fresh strawberries at all, and the filling looked and tasted very artificial. My husband and I were very disappointed because I spent almost $300 for my Son's 1st birthday cake that looked like a fruitless pink gender reveal.

I called Ten Cake Studio and explained the issue to them. All they could do was apologize for this mishap and miscommunication, and said they will do better to explain to customers the difference between strawberry cream and real strawberry fruit with cream. I told them I didn’t want a full refund because I know the work it takes to make a cake, I at least wanted my deposit back due to the fact I purchased something that was underwhelming and not what I had ordered. They apologized again and refused to give back any...

My husband went in to order a carrot cake for his Aunt’s birthday and voiced a common complaint about how many bakeries make carrot cakes that taste more like spice cake than carrot cake, they were receptive to his preferences and offered to add more fresh carrot shavings, which they did. He confirmed that the icing would be cream cheese as the party doesn’t care for buttercream. The cake was very soft to the point when out of the refrigerator for a short period it kind of melted causing it to topple over. The icing of the cake had more buttercream undertones rather than the expected cream cheese flavor. I sooo miss Circles Cafe’s carrot cake.
