AAA-OneStop — Local services in New York

This is the first time in my life I am leaving a negative review. I always try to work things out. However, the service from the person who answers the phone at One Stop was horrific. He refused to give his name and hung up on me twice! My car needed a tow and he called to say they were very busy and was disgruntled from the start, asking what was wrong. And continued to say they were busy. He implied that I was a liar (I couldn’t wait for the estimate of 88 minutes for a tow) and asked my passenger to stay with the car for me. He said that wasn’t allowed and “what - did I lend my car out?” And said I was making up stories. He should be ashamed of himself. In the end, Ricardo from AAA towed the car and was wonderful. Go on a weekend if you must since the staff then is nicer at least... AAA towed me to this location with a flat tire. The next morning I had the same flat tire!!!! AAA brought me back to the same place and the weekend staff was much nicer! They discovered my TPMS had a leak and thats what needed to be replaced. Most likely I paid $250 the day before unnecessarily... I 100% believe I was just taken advantage of on the first day since I was a single woman alone. This company came to Fort Hamilton Military Base and towed my car about 200 meters so the base could do work where I was parked. They charged a towing fee of $125 and a recovery fee of $150. $275 to tow a car 200 meters is ridiculous. This is a company taking advantage of disabled Veterans. When I tried to reach out, the person on the other line stated it is not his issue. This is a company that does not do the right thing. Shame on them. When I talked to a person on Fort Hamilton, he told me “wow, that price is outrageous. I am sorry that happens.
