We've been there multiple times, food is nice and tasty, have no doubts about it, thanks for serving really nice suff. BUT, HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE waiting time to get your food whether you eat in or taking you food "to go", it has never been less than 45min! Absolutely unacebtable waiting time! Also tables inside are sticky and dirty sometimes(will post the pictures later) Last time we went there I ordered a lot of stuff and told the lady on the counter that I'm going to eat in, then and asked her to please give me the rice instead of the fries with whawarma, she ignored me and then I asked again her said ok, guess what? THEY GAVE ME ALL THE FOOD PACKED FOR "TO GO" AND OF COURSE THEY DID NOT GIVE ME THE RICE INSTEAD OF THE FRIES! I told her that I wanted to eat in, plus it was raining outside, she and one of the chef guys were looking and me and they did not even said sorry, nothing, not even a word, they ignored me and since I have paid for the food I took it home. There were 2 other customers who came 10-15min after me,whem they were eatimg their food already, I was still waiting for mine to be prepared. Well, thank you, I WILL NEVER COME BACK EVEN THOUGH I LIKE THE FOOD, I WAS ALWAYS RECOMENNDING TO MY FRIENDS TO TRY THIS PLACE, BUT WOULD NEVER...
Read moreWow, what a hidden gem!! As a Palestinian American, it's rare to find authentic good Palestinian food, so when I come across this wonderful restaurant, I was fortunate! First of all, the ambience is so cute and charming with some tables inside and outside. They do lots of take out and catering-tells you how good the food and service is! Abdel-Rahman was so professional, friendly and accommodating. He answered all my questions and the chef was so friendly and handled all my allergy requests like a professional! Everything came out of the kitchen with love and amazing presentation. So much detail to spices and taste to ensure perfection. They don't take shortcuts and focus on quality and flavor. This will now be our regular place for Palestinian food and also just a wonderful place for veggie options for me. Plenty of meat and seafood dishes as well that look so delicious. Ruzana is authentic and as close as it gets to how my mom cooks. Super clean establishment with charm in every corner. Thank you chef and Abdul-Rahman! See...
Read moreThis place had such mixed reviews, and being that I Love Middle Eastern food I had to try it for myself.
Went around dinner time after shopping nearby. I ordered the Arab Chix roll that everyone has photos of. They were nice enough to let me sub the Cole slaw. They bring the food to you but seem to forget napkins.
I ate outside, as the lighting inside is yucky. Fries are crisp as everyone says and seasoned with some addictive powder that seems to have sugar in it. Chix is ok, moist with a lemon-grassy flavor, dark meat so a bit in the oily side for me. Labneh (aka white sauce) is super salty and they didn’t have many non-soda options, so I was parched. My tabbouleh was fresh but the oil they used seems rancid, so I didn’t finish it. The spicy sauce was probably the best thing I had... I was nervous this would make sick, it was mainly heavy and I didn’t feel bad until the next day. This is basically a greasy shawarma joint, not really home cooking... *sorry about the bad photo- I have to delete some stuff bc my...
