Here’s a polished version of your review:
The parking situation and the constant lack of cashiers make shopping at this location incredibly stressful. There are typically only one or two cashiers working, leading to long lines spilling into the aisles. During my visit, I saw three managers—Jack, Ashley, and another—walking around the store, seemingly having a meeting. When I approached them and politely asked if they were planning to add more cashiers to address the long lines, they looked at me like I had eight heads. As a concerned customer with valid feedback, their dismissive reaction was unacceptable.
Instead of addressing my question, they completely ignored me and walked toward the frozen section. Fifteen minutes later, they passed by the same spot, and I mentioned again how wild it was that all three managers were walking around while the lines remained long and unmoving. Jack and Ashley once again gave me nasty looks, and Ashley’s expression looked like she was ready to argue. Jack finally yelled for two cashiers to come to the register but only one showed up, which barely made a difference. Their attitudes were disgusting and unprofessional, and I can only imagine how they treat their employees if they handle paying customers like this.
On a brighter note, my cashier, Chi, was fantastic despite the chaos. She was friendly, patient, and kind even with the overwhelming lines.
The store also has a security guard with a gun, which felt unnecessary and added to the uncomfortable atmosphere. On the other hand, the parking lot attendants are wonderful. They always help with loading groceries into the car, and I make it a point to tip them for their excellent service. However, the free one-hour parking is often exceeded because of the long lines, and I’ve had to pay multiple times as a result.
Overall, the poor management and terrible service from Jack and Ashley make this location unbearable. I’ll never shop here again. I’d rather tip the parking lot attendants with that money than deal with this level of frustration. So...
Read moreI'm genuinely blown away, by how lackluster this Aldi location is compared to other Aldi's. As its been pointed out in other reviews, the limited stock, virtually barren fruit section, and overall attitude of many of the store workers is deplorable. The last time I visited, I said hello to a worker walking by, wanting to ask her a question, and she literally just ignored me. Repeating hello a second time a little louder, she slowed down yet did not stop before motioning over her shoulder in the direction of where I had inquired about a product.
I get to the register, and the same energy could be found. No response after saying hello to the young lady at the register, no eye contact. I get that it was close to closing, yet this behavior seems a trend here. I chose to drive to Trader Joes on Metropolitan the next time I...
Read moreProduce is poor quality compared to the Rego location. Stop leaving the worst of the worst for low-income neighborhoods. It's sad to see.
In addition, the frozen tenders I used to buy here all the time now regularly give me stomach troubles. They likely leave out the frozen/refrigerated items for awhile outside the truck before stocking them in the freezers, which allows bacteria to grow. Be careful. I never have this issue with the same product from the Rego Park location. I definitely wouldn't trust their poultry or beef either.
The female cashier with her platinum grey weave and eyelashes is too lazy to lift up water bottle packs to put into your cart after scanning so she makes you do it, which is not what they do at any other Aldi's. After this experience, I no...
