Anita Terrace — Local services in New York

Anita Terrace is the nicest coop in Queens. It is financially stable with over $5 million dollars in reserve. Maintenance includes all taxes and utilities. There is no AC surcharge which saves about $2500 per year in one of the large duplex 3 bedroom units which may have 4 AC units. Express busses stop outside and up the street. The subway is about a 5 minute walk past shops of all kinds. It is the same community Board and precinct as Forest Hills which begins about 20 feet from the complex. I live here since 1975 and they continually improve the complex and it is neat and clean with a good management office.The staff is friendly and helpful, there are two elevators per building, a laundry room in each building, a gym for the complex, a nice lobby in each building and a nice mailroom. Everything is kept neat and clean, the neighborhood is quiet and transportation and all kinds of stores are in walking distance. Good schools are also close by. I recommend...
