What an awful experience. I came in as a walk in on 8/24 for a grave marker for my dog. I didnât want to go with the vendor of the cemetery because they did not provide options for a photo. The mother and daughter team began crying about the loss of their own dog. I apologized for their loss. They told me they would contact my cemetery for the specs and get back to me the next day, two days at the latest. The daughter Dina said it would be $1900 the mother said âoh no, nowhere near that!â
I never heard back from them. The cemetery never heard from them. I left two messages. Today 9/4 I called and spoke to the daughter who was so dismissive it was shocking. A good business owner would simply say âI am so sorry how can we make this right, what can I do?â. She never once tried to fix it and save me as a customer. She just wanted to end the call and be done with me. Some of her quotes âI was called away to hang out with a family friend and watch her kidsâ, âthese things happenâ, âYOU can call the cemetery todayâ, âI donât even think we can match the prices of the cemeteryâs vendorâ. What prices? She was never provided with a price list. She was actively trying to deter me from continuing to do business with her!
The words âIâm sorryâ came out of her mouth a few times but she followed it up with âbutâŚâ and multiple excuses (we are a family business, etc). Um hello! You said you would call me in 1-2 days and it has been 12 days. I began to try to discuss and salvage the situation and she continued to be dismissive and cold, as if âget over it ladyâ. After 6 mins and 46 seconds she said âI am making the decision not to work with you because you have been lecturing me and reading me the riot act for 15 minsâ. I said âitâs been 6 mins, and you are making the decision not to work with me?â She said âyes I am entitled to do soâ. We finally agreed. Yes she surely is entitled! She was unable to accept criticism for her poor behavior and simply didnât care enough to give a true apology without the excuses.
I am guessing most of these reviews are fake. There is no way these people have a successful business if they treat customers like this. After suffering a loss of a loved one, the last thing you want to deal with is dismissive entitled behavior from someone who âwent to hang out with...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of working with Lara from Arcadia Monument to create a beautiful monument in honor of my parents, and I cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful service she provided.
From our very first meeting, Lara was attentive, empathetic, and deeply committed to understanding my vision for the project. She took the time to listen to my ideas and concerns, and offered valuable guidance and expertise throughout the entire process.
What impressed me most about Lara was her unwavering attention to detail and her commitment to delivering a finished product that exceeded my expectations in every way. From the initial sketches to the final installation, every aspect of the monument was executed with precision and care, resulting in a stunning work of art that truly captures the spirit and legacy of my parents.
But beyond her technical skill and creative vision, it was Lara's warmth and compassion that truly set her apart. She understood the emotional significance of this project for me and my family, and she went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of the process was handled with sensitivity, respect, and kindness.
In short, I cannot recommend Lara and Arcadia Monument highly enough. If you are in need of a beautiful, meaningful monument to honor the memory of a loved one, or simply want to create a lasting work of art that captures your own unique vision and style, I urge you to...
Read moreAs anyone can imagine, ordering a monument for a loved one is extremely emotional.. We visited three places and ran back to Arcadia Monuments. As emotionally rough and painful the process was on our end, Lara and Dina made it very seamless and stress free for us. From the moment we walked into Arcadia Monuments, we felt genuinely cared for and heard. They spent a whole lot of quality time with us finding the best solution for what we wanted (and we are very picky customers). As it was a lengthy process, we have been communicating a lot via emails, texts and phone calls. Not once was my inquiry ignored or not addressed in a timely fashion and always with a genuine care. Arcadia Monuments is a top notch expert in its line of business. Everything that we were offered - from the stone to the design, font, lettering and finally the photo - came out excellent and highest quality. We are very happy with the result! Being in a customer relations business, I can testify that this is a true five star âď¸ business proving the finest services for years as we have been refered by someone and already refered two friends of ours who have recently lost...
