Delmar Pizzeria — Restaurant in New York

I would like to start off by giving them a big thank you! I ordered take out tonight and my dad went to pick up the order. After about 45 minutes I wondered what happened and called him. He said the order wasn't ready and that they just started the order after he got there. Which was very surprising since they've always been very prompt in the past. After my dad came home, I found out why. He went to L&B by mistake. Shortly after my dad came home Delmar called. The guy was very nice and not mad at all. So hats off to them. I figured at least my dad mistakenly went to L&B and not some hole in the wall. But the pizza was very disappointing. Delmar's crust and flavor is far superior. I had ordered a delivery on superbowl sunday: They had given me an approximate wait time of 1 hour; understandable since it's the super bowl, whatever. Two and a half hours later, I still have not received my order. After calling a total of 12 times to get someone on the phone, and not getting hung up on, the "manager" did nothing to make the situation better other than just to wait, I had fifteen people, including myself waiting the given hour for our food .If the people at this establishment would have given me the wait time as two and a half hours, it would be fine as it is not hard to find a different pizzeria in this area, but now this place is going to be seen as nothing but a horrible business by me...

This is one if the best Pizza restaurants in Brooklyn. I only eat pizza on rare occasions these days and I use to have five "go to" locations, Delmars' being one of them. I only four now and Delmars is my number one spot. I specifically eat the grandma style but have tried the traditional slice, and you won't go wrong with either. The doe is baked to it's lightly brown on the edges and with the olive oil flavored in, your mouth excites with the tasty fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and marinara sauce. I can almost eat the entire eight piece pie but if not ordering by the slice, I settle for six and devour the other two at home for later.
