I had help from DAMIAN PONNIAH, who I was questioning at first, but proved me wrong shortly. My iphone 5s hadn't turned on for a week and would only go to the apple white screen and then black on and off. I went to apple in meatpacking and waited for 2 hours, for them to tell me there was nothing they could do. I then went to At&t to try and see about getting a new phone. I was so upset and devastated about the thought of permanently losing all of my phones content. I felt like no one could help me or cared and just wanted to give me the basic answer because it's "just a phone" and i "should have done a back up." And I have always had bad experiences at At&t, mostly in Rhode Island where I am from but this one was different. Damian could see how upset I was, and was genuine in helping me and answered everyone of my panic stricken annoying repeated questions and resolved my problem. He gave me a great deal on my new phone, which is a iphone 6s, and update wasn't costly. He even took the time out to talk to my mom on the phone and go through our plan and told us ways to save us money. I got a new sim card and thought all of my information would be lost and again got upset. Damian sat with me and updated my whole computer which apple told me I would need to do but have to make another appt another day, and it took a good hour, and he was dealing with other customers and would always check on me and the update. and updated my whole computer to my phone could be backed up. I was at AT&T for a good 2.5 hours. and at the end of this whole experience, I got a brand new phone with ALL of my content, notes, pictures, numbers, AND relief and a smile on my face! Damian went above and beyond for me and my experience with him and the store was great! I even left with some knowledge about my phone and computer so I would never have to deal with this problem again and my overall time spent here ended with giving Damien a hug because he was just so patient, real and genuine. Read moreMULTIPLE SERVICE issues: I ordered a new phone here & it was suggested I have it delivered to the store. I only live a block away, so not a big deal. Only problem is the store staff rejected delivery because it appeared tampered with, which is fine, but they didn't immediately contact me about it, so I had to figure out what happened on my own, then go to the store to see what happened. I've been waiting for 2 weeks now and being very patient. I'm still waiting for my phone. Whether I show up in person or call in, I'm constantly told that it will be resolved soon or by the following Monday, someone will call me with an update & that does NOT happen. I was told that my monthly bill would not change & it's gone up $12 dollars, so I feel completely scammed by the staff this place. I've completely lost confidence in ATT.
As you can see the lack of professionalism in the place has been very disappointing for me & it has me considering moving to a new service provider. They guys that work here are nice, but the lack of service standard level organization, follow up & diligence is very disappointing. Read more⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This review dedicated the Nav only and not AT&T. I had a terrible experience with AT&T for over two months, trying to transfer my phone to my own account from my father-in-law’s account. I was bounced around between stores, and nobody could help me. Then I met Nav at an AT&T store.
Nav was incredible!! He spent several hours trying to help me, going above and beyond. Even though the transfer still didn’t work because AT&T’s system is a complete mess, Nav did everything he could even above his capacity! He was so dedicated and kind.
Unfortunately, AT&T’s system failed completely, and I was forced to switch to Verizon. I believe AT&T lost me as a customer, I doubt I will consider to give it another chance and come back. The whole process was miserable and I was so traumatized, but I want to highlight Nav’s amazing customer service!! You can tell he loves people and he loves his job!
