I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hair Spot NYC and getting my hair cut by Shanti, and I cannot recommend him highly enough! From the moment I walked into the salon, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere, and Shanti's friendly and professional demeanor only added to the positive experience.

But it was the haircut itself that truly blew me away. Shanti clearly has a great eye for detail and took the time to listen to what I wanted, while also offering his own expert advice and suggestions. The end result was a haircut that was both stylish and flattering, and that perfectly suited my personality and lifestyle.

I also appreciated how Shanti took the time to explain the products and techniques he was using, and to offer tips and advice for maintaining my new haircut at home. Hello people :), my name is Miguel, and for my review, I would just like to say that if you're thinking of going to this salon for your haircut, GO.RIGHT.NOW Like fr fr, it was my first time going to this salon and my hairstylist was Amy and let me tell you, she did that, she asked questions about my how I liked my hair to look, what i wanted, what i use and gave me feedback on how it's going to look and what is most suitable for my hair since i was looking for volume like letting me know about texture and definition and how she can add that to make my hair look like what i wanted, which i forgot to mention I came for layers, also what parts of my hair was too short or too long and how she can make it more even and look better (which she flawlessly did) and gave me step by step what she was going to work out and do. They also offer drinks if you want, which was really nice and considerate. Overall, I love Amy. She was an amazing first experience in this salon. She did amazing, and I loved her personality and how she makes friendly conversations with her clients to make you more comfortable with her. I highly recommend this salon, it’s very well organized, calm, professional, tastefully decorated. I’ve watched the other colorists/stylists work and they don’t rush, take their time with their clients.

I have been going to Alvin for seven years now and have followed him to where ever he is working. He is extremely knowledgeable, talented, and does an incredible job every single time. After coloring my hair for many years, when I started seeing him, the texture was very brittle. When I started seeing him, he not only worked with me to get the color I was looking for (very light!), but also to nourish my hair and bring it back to a think and shiny texture.
