I decided to give QQ a try because I saw this location had pretty good reviews and their price list was very reasonably priced. I will not be going back, as the mani/pedi I received were just average (pedicure was less than average) and I was overcharged. I went in for a basic pedi ($36) and my feet/heels didn't look any better when I left than when I got there. As for the mani, I had hard gel on my nails and asked for a removal + a Japanese gel mani. A tech by the pedicure station told me that since I had hard gel on my hands, the removal would be $30 and the Japanese gel mani is $65. She then told me that it would be better for my nails to do a fill in rather than a full removal and assured me it would be the same price as a removal, so I agreed. The tech who did my pedi also did my mani and was quite sloppy with it, nicking my cuticles several times, getting gel on my palms and the underside of my fingers, and leaving bumps in the polish.
Upon checking out, I was charged $145 after a 15% discount for a first time client. This didn't match the math that I had done in my head ($36 pedi + $65 japanese gel + $30 removal = $131; plus 15% discount = $111).
I asked at the desk for the breakdown and she told me it was $80 for a fill in (I didn't have acrylics on, just hard gel), $20 for Japanese gel, $36 for my pedicure, a 15% discount, plus tax (which should = $136; discount = $115).
I made the mistake of not doing the math on my phone when she said this, as I was so confused by the fill in price that I just agreed to pay and left. Once I got home and did the math, realized that even with the prices she told me at the desk, I had been overcharged by $30 and called to let her know. On the phone, she told me I was wrong and refused to refund me the difference. Between the poor quality of my mani/pedi and the blatant overcharges, I wouldn't recommend going here, and I definitely will not be returning. I'm extremely...
Read moreEdited: They're stating below that "I was told to allow my nails to dry on the second trip but I only allowed a few seconds in the machine and removed them" which is NOT TRUE. I inserted my hands in the UV machine TWICE for a full minute for each coat when they "fixed" my nails. Not sure why they're gaslighting me but I fully did as instructed by my technician and the manager, who told me to insert them twice into the machine. Normally I wouldn't be this upset but it's actually unbelievable (and so disrespectful) they keep blaming me for their poor quality work. Don't visit this QQ location.
I used to love this QQ location, but the quality has gone way downhill. I had to go in twice because of air bubbles in my nails. The manager, told me I had 7 days to come back if anything went wrong, but when I returned just two days later to fix the issue, she blamed me, saying I “didn’t dry them for long enough.” My technician, Monica, never instructed me to insert my nails into the UV machine twice at any point, so how was I supposed to know?
After they “fixed” the bubbles, they reappeared the very next day. Almost $80 down the drain. Definitely not the level of service or quality I used to expect from this salon. They were nice about the situation but unfortunately, I won’t be...
Read moreI put a poor review in general or the overall service. Though the attendant just approximately reach the minimum service yet the recep or front desk isn’t aware of any promotional products they have. Before availing the service I politely inquired the promo ad that was posted outside the establishments and they confirmed about it. Granting with the notion and confirmation I took the service and just right after I went to get my check and was informed that they got me the wrong information. Is it on the client’s mishap? Anyone should be seated or deployed on the actual must know well their products and services. If there’s any doubt about the information, that employee must check and verify. My case was, it was checked and verified by the other colleague and there comes the “well informed” stuff came to the picture telling me that I got the wrong information. Wrong information when you are about to pay???? I am just frustrated super duper frustrated and disappointed on how that “well informed” stuff channel the communication… of course I paid but no tip when I love giving tips in every transactions I made. I hope falsehope like these will be avoided moving forward. Noting that this shop is geared to ethical approach, I meant everyone...
