I just want to start off by saying I had an incredibly long day & I work in the service industry. Iām on my feet all day long & I work with my hands. I walked into B BI TOO NAILS in the rain and asked if there was an availability for a quick mani pedi because when I walked in I could see the hours on the door and they were about to close. Lea came to my rescue and immediately grabbed me took a look at my feet and told me what I needed ( which is sooo important to let the professional tell you whatās needed because they knowš) She made my feet look and feel AMAZING with her perfect massage. I then asked her if I could please get a gel manicure cuz so it will stay instead of a regular one⦠she couldāve said no but she said YES!!!! Then Winnie one of the other lovely ladies came over and asked me if I wanted a back massageā¦. I have NEVER been soo RELAXED & HAPPY!! I immediately asked them both for their names so I could let everyone know!!! šš I hope this doesnāt make them too busy to take me again!! Ā Ā Ā Read moreDO NOT GO! I have literally no idea why this place has good reviews. First of all you walk up and the awning has a different nail salon name on it. Second of all, they overcharge. They were soooo rough w my nails they left scabs on my cuticles. Maybe this place is fine for a basic gel mani but not for acrylics. They tried to remove my acrylics with a basic nail file. Then they used a METROCARD to try and lift the acrylic after one soak. Then they decided to use nail clippers to clip it off and literally cut through 2 of my natural nails. No apology at all. As I said they tore up my cuticles too. Worst part was, they do not do traditional acrylics. They just put on a tip and dip it in powder 2x. That is not strong enough. My nails broke in 1 week. Got charged $168 for this. At the end I alerted them that I had scabs on my fingers. They pretended to be shocked and then put some rubbing alcohol on my fingers. At the end, knowing they hurt me, they still had the nerve to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is not a review for the service. People working here are great which is why I hesitated before putting this review and gave it a 3 versus 2.
I came here Feb 14 2022 for powder gel removal and new powdergel. I paid $75 including tax and tip
I came back on Mar 11th. They added additional $12 for powder gel removal. It was not reflected in price sheet I was getting late and did not want to argue but I found this unprofessional and sort of like cheating.
In all salons that I have been to in the hood, if you get gel manicure then you are not charged for removal
I would not mind paying extra, but not having been communicated change in policy in less than a month left me wondering if this is a real change in price
I wish I could come back because people who do the nails are great
But this sudden price increase which isnt reflect ed in price...
