I went here to look around and buy some new bape and I had a few problems, first is that the staff is absolutely rude and unprofessional, they seemed annoyed to have a customer in the store and there were 4 employees on FaceTime with one girl trying to flirt with her, it was really cringe. The other problem wasnât their fault but the recent drops just werenât great and they had bad selection, the employees there were more concerned with asking the girl on FaceTime her weight than they were trying to sell me a 600-1000$ hoodie. I get that work isnât the most fun, but this is a high end streetwear/designer brand and thereâs some respect towards the customer that is to be expected, even McDonaldâs employees are less rude and more attentive than the people working here, if nigo was still the owner of bape I think he would have personally sent all of these people to go work at old navy instead, god needs to smite and destroy the bape store employees at the SoHo location, they have such a horrible energy about them that after going to the store it ruined my day and I didnât wear any of my bape hoodies for a week after that. I would have a better time being harassed by a crackhead...
Read moreThis is by far the worst BAPE store I have visited in my life. This store is only worth 1 star. I gave extra 1 star because one of staff said âhave a nice dayâ when I walked out.
I have visited few Japan, Hong Kong and the Brand New Jersey shop.
Letâs compare this SoHo shop vs New Jersey. The soho location staffs didnât know what size they have in stock. Itâs so hard to get them to check sizes for me. I asked them bring me all Small sizes tees, so that I can make up my decision. After waiting for 10 mins, I didnât see the staff and realized that he left the store already. Wtf.
I was ready to buy something and no one there was helping.
The next day, I went to the brand new New Jersey location. Totally big shopping experience.
The girl staff knew exactly what sizes were available. Sheâs like a computer. I dropped 4 digits that day. This is how you sell with passion and being a polite staff.
I hope that soho management sees...
Read moreAmazing experience! The store is bright and stunning. It did take a while to get in because they only let in a couple people at the time and the people inside were just walking back and forth. I like the way everything was displayed inside -- it's neat, clean, and follows the standards of a higher-end streetwear store. The staff makes it clear from the get go that no photos are allowed and I assume that it's strictly enforced, so it's a bummer I wasn't able to take any. The staff also kind of just let you on your own to browse the products, and while there's a lot to choose from, BAPE prices can get pretty expensive, and I'm talking about $145 for a t-shirt. While that price might entice some, I can't justify spending that much. That being said, there's a lot to visually admire in the store, but I can't see myself actually buying anything. Definitely a must-see tourist...
