Camper — Local services in New York

I have been buying Campers for 10+ years. I love their shoes but am still in disbelief that their team cannot work with me to correct an issue with a purchase in November 2023.

They sent me the wrong color boots.

I sent them back for the correct color for exchange in December. They never sent the correct color OR gave me a refund.

I just wanted the correct color and have gone back and forth with their team many times. Finally I have given up and requested a refund but the boots I want are now MORE expensive than what I purchased them for in November.

I have asked the team to make this up to me as a loyal customer and they have not. The most they would offer was a 20% discount. To match what I paid they would have to give me 30% off, and that does nothing to make up for the hours I have spent going back and forth with their team for two months now.

I’m still waiting on the refund.

We will see if the money even comes through. I have lost all faith in this company.

I ordered the Kobarah heels in silver, size 39 for my son’s 1st birthday party and was expecting them to arrive 4 days before the event. But when the package came, it was the Kobarah flat sandals in black and in a size 43! I panicked especially since the online store doesn’t have a customer service number.

So I called this store to see if anyone could help. The first person I spoke to wasn’t helpful, but when I called back, BRANDY was an angel! She was so kind, apologetic, and truly compassionate. I appreciated her more than she knows in that moment.

Brandy promised to call me back with info about the LA store (which had the correct heels in stock), and she actually followed through! I was able to get the shoes in time, and she even called again to help with the return process for the wrong item.

Brandi in soho is my girl, when I tell you I came in with no agenda other than excitement and Brandi helped me get fitted a snug into the best sneakers I’ll be kicking in all summer, it is NO LIE. I went to about 10 other stores that day and Brandi + team were the most enjoyable, lively, and fun bunch I chatted with all day AND it was close to closing. I seriously loved my experience so much, which makes me even more geeked on the shoes. Love the shoes and the energy so much I walked out with them on because I KNEW I wasn’t changing my mind.

And the name I forgot of the other worker there who didn’t check me out but still brought the vibes, I am sorry to that man—I lost my receipt with your name on it and literally contacted customer service to get another copy so I could at least get my girl Brandi the shout, my b! Thank you...
