Harley-Davidson of New York City — Local services in New York

3-22-24 stopped in there today and needed to return a T-shirt. My daughter had bought me for Christmas. I knew it was way past the return date that they allow the normal 30 days I explained to them that I was an over the road trucker and was very difficult for me to get back in time. They were extremely nice about it, and very understanding, and did not give me a hard time at all about exchanging the shirt for a Shirt that fit me better. The entire staff was very nice and friendly, especially The young lady at the counter unfortunately, I did not get her name, but she was very slender had long, black hair, and was very pretty. She took care of the exchange. I told her I was willing to pay the difference it was more money she said no at one point she even went out the street to watch my truck for me while I picked out a shirt so I did not get a ticket. I will be going back in the near future when I have a vehicle and I can find a place to park and spend more time in there. I will highly recommend this store to anyone I talk to going into the city. Definitely look like they had a lot of nice stuff in there. Wish I had more time to spend. I will be back in the very near future. Thank you...

Ok, my first trip to NYC and as a new HD owner I wanted to visit the store and spend some money.. However.. as I entered the store at opening time on Sunday I was followed around by some commissioned based geek who clearly knew nothing about selling to Brits.. For future reference Guy’s we don’t need to know the difference between woman's & mens clothes and/or what is on the sale rack and what isn’t! It’s not rocket science. Leave us alone and we’ll spend money! The guy had clearly never ridden a bike in his life and was oblivious to my discomfort on his shadowing.. Needles to say after 15mins I walked out of the store empty handed, my wife couldn’t believe it given we’d made a 30min detour from our trip to Chelsea Market sometimes less is more guys.. That said I remain undeterred and my quest for HD clothing & accessories will be fulfilled, I’m going home to Blighty tomorrow and HD Guildford will be the beneficiary of my hard earned, they know a thing or two about bikes and what it means to be a biker!! Shame though, HD NYC had some nice bits but I recon they’re about $350 down on their takings for the day all because of Mr Numb Nuts and his sales...

Went with my wife to the HD store was really excited until I went to the downstairs showroom and asked an older gentelmen who said he was an experienced rider and rode all year round but when I asked him if he could talk to me about a particular bike ( A beautiful CVO) sitting just to the left of his work station his response to me was "I can't tell you anything about the bikes I just deal with the rentals". Not being able to get any info on the bike i liked (and may buy) I went upstairs to buy a key chain but returned downstairs to use the restroom where I found the man being incredibly helpful to another gentelmen, he even allowed him to sit on the bikes which after his response to me I didn't dare ask to do (sit on the bikes) The man wouldn't even get out of his chair to see the bike i was enquiring about. Miss Erin and her team upstairs was excellent and if I do return to this Harley Davidson dealer it will be because of their professionalism. Never brought the key chain I didn't feel comfortable spending...
