A really off putting experience in this store for someone who was actually interested in buying something in the near future. Came at 6pm an hour before closing on a Friday and there was no sales person on the floor at first. Later someone finally came out but they were just concerned with wiping all the surfaces and cleaning up and didn’t say anything to my friend and I. I asked if I’m allowed to just pick up the product to test it out since I’ve been debating if I wanted an airwrap, and he just offhandedly said “yeah sure but just don’t do your whole head of hair” which was kind of off putting as he continued cleaning. I Wasn’t planning on doing my whole head and just wanted to try a few strands of hair, but it felt rude that he talks like that to potential customers when these airwraps costs $600. He also didn’t offer to help explain how to use the tool and was just occupied with cleaning so my friend and I just had to test the product by ourselves which was a little difficult to get the hair to wrap. Later on another sales associate came out but she didn’t say anything to help us out, but when two new customers walked in the second associate was quick offer them help which really left an unsavory feeling for me. Read moreThis store deserves more than 5 stars. I went to the 5th ave dyson store. Unfortunately the service was not what I expected so I decided to go to the SOHO store. From the moment that I walked in, I was immediately greeted by Luis and asked if I needed any help. I asked for a dyson air wrap, however I went in there with no experience in how to use it. He gladly taught me how to use it with such expertise and even threw in some jokes during the demo. He didn’t seem like those people that forces you to buy a product, he genuinely wanted to teach me about the products and what was better for my hair type. I left that store with no doubts and very happy with the exceptional customer service, it was the best customer service I have received. Read moreI’ll recommend buy Dyson products someplace else!!! A very unpleasant experience in this store. The sales team were uncoordinated between themselves, as I asked if I’m allowed to test the airwrap (which I actually wanted to buy) and then one of them helped me and was really nice, but after 2 minutes as I’m trying to figure out how to do one strand of hair by myself (see if I’m able to do it alone), another sales associate just came to me and said “you know you can’t do your whole head”. I mean seriously?! Its a 600$ purchase and I’m not aloud to try a few strands of hair before Im buying? It was so rude!!! Obviously I would never buy it there.
