Found via Instagram and thought the asian model had nice lashes so I inquired via DM. They recommended a more professional lash tech (2 out of the 3 tech).

Before I arrived, I got a text asking if I could come an hour earlier than the appointment but I couldn’t and they were accepting.

The shop is conveniently located in Midtown at the back of the Russian Nail shop. I asked for “Wispy natural set on Asian eyes!” and got some surprising results. Definitely do a thorough, longer consultation with your tech on what you both think is “natural.” Veronika said D curl before the session started which I agreed upon but these lengths on my eyes were questionable..

Notable things: They have the worst pillows (the travel pillows that you take on a plane) — it doesn’t have a hygienic cover. I couldn’t tell if my neck was relaxed or tight. Her phone rang a couple times (text messages) and she stopped doing lashes to text twice mid session. Before she fans, she was detaching parts of my eyes that were glued? and that part was a bit intrusive. I kept flinching because I was scared. Her movements were bigger than I’m used to with my tech. The new shop I went to after this didn’t even need this step. They ask to take photos of you before and after. She takes 3 shots before and 3 shots after. Since they didn’t ask to post on socials, I really hope they don’t post it anywhere. Just after the session when she was taking videos, I couldn’t open my eyes because of the sting + bright lights.. Really painful.. Make sure you get fanned for enough time. I thought I paid during appointment but you pay at the end: Since I was a new client, they applied a discount and with tip, it was just under $119.14. They have those digital tablet check out registers with suggested tip 20, 25, 30 and do stare while you’re filling it out lol

Veronika was sweet. She walked me to where the bathroom was and she seemed really proud of her work. I got them done yesterday and GOT THEM REMOVED today from another lash shop in LIC. My eyes feel so much lighter and less itchy. The lash tech did mention that the adhesion was.. interesting..
