Go try HOT DOG with PEANUT BUTTER. AS this place always tries to please a young man requested peanut butter on his hotdog. They had to check supplies in the basement to see if they had any left. THEY DID! The team then prepared the hot dog the way he requested. This is why this place attracts so many Chelseans. They treat you like family. Plus they sure do try to service what you request. My first time here I didn’t understand all the different condiments: a ketchup sauce with onions. They fixed it. But I should have asked instead of just pointing and say: I WILL HAVE THAT. In the world of hot dogs they have add CHICAGO HOT DOGS which are different and have a different bang to them. While waiting there, I am always impressed with the respect they have with their customers and believe me some of them can be trying at times. Many occasions I am asked for money at this corner but I tell them if you are hungry I will buy you food here but no $$. Many don’t want the food but if they do the team here treats everyone here with respect. There are many faiths here: Christian, Muslim, Hindu, atheists, Judaism and everyone is deeply respected. Any time I have a bad day at work or the stock market plunges, I will stop in and I know in the five to ten minutes I am there I will leave with a smile. I originally came here last May, around memorial day to try out and explore places in NYC. As NYC is usually known for their style of pizza, they also got something going on with their hot dogs. Having originally watched the Hot Dog Program on PBS, it made me want to try some legit hot dogs from NYC! Ended up converging on this nice joint at Chelsea, having hot dogs and their papaya drink! Ended up getting the deal with two hot dogs and a drink, with the hot dogs having sauerkraut and mustard on them. These were really good, but I have to say that the papaya drink is what takes the crown because it was REALLY GOOD, like REALLY GOOD.
