đ” Koon Taste of Siam is an absolute gemđ and one of the best authentic Thai restaurants Iâve tried in NYC! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomedâthe staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. The atmosphere is cozy, relaxed, and has that comforting âfeel like homeâ vibe thatâs perfect whether youâre dining solo or with friends.
đœ We started with the Peanut Dumpling and Chicken Satay as appetizers. The dumplings were soft and savory with just the right touch of sweetness from the peanut filling, and the satay was tender and flavorful with a rich peanut sauce that we couldnât get enough of.
For the main dishes, the Moo Krob Prik Khingđ· was a standoutâcrispy pork belly stir-fried in a spicy red curry paste with green beans. It had the perfect texture and heat, packed with deep Thai flavors. The Black Pepper Beefđ„© was another hitâtender beef slices in a rich, peppery sauce that had us scraping the plate clean.
And you must try their Thai Green Tea! đ” Itâs hard to find a truly good one in NYC, but this one hit all the right notesâsmooth, slightly sweet, and aromatic. The perfect way to cool down after the spicy dishes.
If youâre craving real Thai flavors, this place delivers in every way. The dishes taste just like the ones Iâve had in Thailand, and the whole experienceâfrom food to service to ambianceâis top-tier.
Highly recommend đ Koon Taste of Siam for anyone looking for authentic, flavorful Thai cuisine in a warm and welcoming setting. Canât wait to...

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service, especially from the amazing server Note, who made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. I ordered the beef basil rice and it was bursting with bold, savory flavors. The basil was fresh and did NOT over power the dish. The crispy spring rolls were perfectly golden and packed with fresh veggies- a great quick appetizer. Note brought out a mango sticky-rice dessert. It was a sweet, tropical dream that ended the meal on a very high Note (

The place should not have been opened today. There was no sink in the bathroom, and it looks like work was still being done while I sat down and had my lunch. They had a child there, which is not a beneficial look when you are just opening running back and forth in the restaurant. While the adults were chatting, they gave the little girl, which I am guessing was less than 5 years old the task to put the forks on the table. What they didn't see was the little girl kneeling down and tapping the tip end of the fork to the floor and then putting the forks on the table set up for the next customers. I called the adults attention, and they took the forks away from the table, but still, what if I didn't notice? I ordered a Chicken Tsao, but it was more on the salty side. I had to get back to work and I wanted to just leave. I will not be back, and I should've just...
