They've got a design consultant named Kathryn who gave me exactly the combination of support and expertise I needed. I was able to develop and carry out a vision that feels like mine -- not imposed -- but that I couldn't have realized without her. And for free! In the end, she and I are delighting together in a really elegant result.

When it comes to technical questions -- like, what's possible with custom paints or whatever -- the paint counter people are competent, and they are willing to explain things, which is not something you find everywhere.

As for Janovic fulfilling the actual materials orders, it all went smoothly. If you call in an order to any Janovic location, they'll deliver paints anywhere in the city -- fast and for free (over a $25 purchase, which even a quart of high-quality paint legitimately surpasses).

I couldn't have asked for better...

The place is really good when you want to get fresh paint and all the accessories and wallpaper and stuff like that they have it unlike other places their pain is not fresh and you have to wash your hand a million times their paint is super fresh don't look at the price tag look at the quality but on the other hand the stuff is ridiculously unhelpful at all one of the guys that they have don't even know what he's talking about he'll point you in the wrong direction when you ask him for something and then one lady asked me who sent me when I was trying to paint my own house and get stuff to do other things people are crazy if you don't know how to do your job you should be retrained or fired that's all that there is .tha place is 8 out 10 it would of bin 10 if tha staff...

This is the worst Benjamin Moore location I have ever experience. The employees, including its manager, have no respect for its customers and do not care to help you at all. In fact, when the phone was ringing, I even heard the manager say, "Do not answer that." I have never experienced such disrespect. I'm merely trying to buy some paint here. I would suggest those looking for paint, wallpaper, and other supplies visit the Sherwin Williams that is two blocks away - on 21st between 6th & 7th ave. After being disappointed with this staff, I visited Sherwin Williams and received amazing customer service. Their staff even offered a discount they were issuing at the time.
