I bought the year pass for $795 and I was so excited, only to have many times where I am not able to use it. So the next option is $1895 for a private 5 min charter. Doesn't make much sense to pay 2K for 1 person on an 5 min flight to save less than an hour over a black car. Additionally, since I bought the pass the price has increased dramatically. So, just keep in mind there are little to no $195 flights with the $100 discount it's more like $245 (ok) and $345 (ehh). It's still worth the cool VIP experience and time savings, I'd just expand the timetable and actually make it more usable for guests. Moreover, I Just tried using it today to arrive at 2PM at EWR on a Thursday, and once again nothing available. I really feel duped as it's been a waste of the $795 and have been able to use it only one time. I think that if you fly mainly out of JFK, then it's better suited for you, but if you are a UNITED flyer and you are stuck in/ out of EWR mostly, which in my experience results in a far less workable...

Original Statement: Horrible first time experience using Blade. Changed my flight and have email confirmation stating that the agents had changed my reservation to a different day. Log in the day before my flight with Blade to still see my original reservation date listed instead of the new one. When I called and spoke with Charley, he stated that because I bought the basic fare I was not eligible for a refund and they would "graciously" make an exception to refund my credit card if I paid the $95 cancellation fee even though this was their mistake. I don't see why I had to pay the cancellation fee as this was an error on their end as I had it in writing that my flight was confirmed to be changed for the new date by a different agent named Greta. I should have been refunded the full amount regardless of the fare type since this was an error and terrible lapse of judgement...
