BMCC Library — Local services in New York

It supposed to be quiet steady area, people always talk, some people literally just come to talk there about their lives to their friends, boy friends or girlfriends. It is loud most of the time. People sitting and just playing music from their phones when others try to study. Security never does anything about it, not even during the finals. I called this library because I borrowed a graphic calculator and I had a very bad experience with someone over the phone. I don’t know what happened, I also was very kind. I just called to confirm that I renewed the calculator I borrowed online for another week. Miraj or I’m not sure if I remember the name she gave me, but was not helpful and very rude to me! You don't want to go here if you are not a CUNY student. I was shunned by the security even after showing my out-of-state school ID. I am yet to find a library other than this one that prohibits entrance for students from other educational institutions.
