C & S Value Mart Inc — Local services in New York

Walked into this place with my sister and 2 children, the whole time the workers kept following us around the store as if they were worried we were going to shoplift. I noticed and quickly grabbed what i needed and proceeded to the checkout counter. I noticed that the lady was on her walkie talking in spanish telling some other worker what items i had checkout. I don’t look like i speak spanish so the lady probably did not notice that i knew what was going on. She did not so this with the other customers. I don’t like to make a scene so i just walked out. They lost 2 customers with their nasty attitude. To too it all off the shop is outdated and overpriced....

The shop is bigger than it seems but a lot of the inventory is pretty old. They don’t update the price stickers on everything and the cashiers will charge a different price than labeled. They do have an above average selection of holiday decorations, which is why we stopped by after eating at a nearby restaurant. Prices are a bit higher than going to a chain store for the same brands, but they did have some seasonal items that we did not see...
