I’ve never had a single positive experience in this location. This location is just horrible. My first visit here I met a couple of sales associates that were trying to help me albeit they were polite they were very pushy. I was interested in their jewelry and explained to them I had a minor allergy to copper which meant any rose gold jewelry would irritate my skin. After looking at a couple of pieces I liked I asked for alternative metals available i.e yellow gold, white gold etc. they kept giving me the rose gold pieces and was constantly telling me it wasn’t rose gold and I asked them if it’s not rose gold what gives this piece it’s pink shade? She avoided the answer and was telling me it’s not rose gold it’s pink gold and it has no copper in it. Pink and rose gold are basically the same thing..it just really depends on the amount of copper that is being used that gives it the different names. How can you be selling something you’re so uneducated about?? She insisted I try it on and I did hoping that perhaps I was wrong and I didn’t know what I was talking about. In minutes of just trying it on my skin a light rash appeared. She didn’t seem sympathetic she just went oh I’m sorry let’s just try the white gold pieces
at that point I just didn’t want any of their jewelry pieces. I inquired about a couple of bags I’d been looking at and both sales associates kept trying to sell me an exotic bag in the style I was not interested in. I kept explaining to them the type of bag I preferred and they just kept showing me the same bag in different sizes, exotic skins, and other colors rather than other model bags
I don’t quite know what’s going on with the sales people in this location. They also are really rude when it comes to returns. I bought some items online and they didn’t end up working out for me. Louis Vuitton website states I can return it in the store or ship it back. If it takes me 30min to go to the city to return it why would I waste time shipping it back and wait for it to be delivered for a return? We thought since we had time we stopped by to return it and the guy at the register so rude and was acting like a drama queen. “Just so you know. You can return it by shipping it back and they’ll receive it next day.” Major attitude. Clearly I know the return policy that’s why I’m returning it in the store because it’s more convenient than shipping it back. Absolutely ridiculous that Louis Vuitton brand would hire people like this to represent them. They are not educated and trained on the products they’re selling and clearly don’t have customer service skills. They’re really bringing down the brand as a whole. Would never buy from Louis Vuitton again. Time after time service has...

Had an item put on reservation at this store and can honestly say it was an awful experience working with Rokiya. Total dimwit. I had walked into the store and she had greeted me and my friend pleasantly and directed us to the ready to wear department. I told her I had called ahead to have the item I wanted put aside so it would be ready to go the second I walked in the door. Earlier that day a representative from the store had called me to confirm the reservation and told them I wanted my item boxed and to have a garment bag, a very simple request. I made it very clear that I would be traveling and due to the nature of the material the shirt collects lint extremely easily. Rokiya had no idea what a reservation even was when I told her what I was there for and after dumbing it down she goes "Oh you mean a reservation" almost as though she had ignored every single word I said prior. She then goes into the back and not even 2 minutes later she comes out and tells me she can't find it and just stands there and tries to push other merchandise on me which I made very clear I had 0 interest in. The size I had placed aside was the last one in the United Stated so there was no other option except that so I was already very annoyed by having my time wasted and I told her that it was definitely back there. This entire time neither myself nor my friend were offered a refreshment of any form while we waited. Nearly 10 minutes later she finally found the shirt. When she finally came out of the back, she just took the shirt to the register and didn't say a thing to me or my friend. I walked up to inquire what was going on and she said she had FINALLY found it. Upon ringing it up I reminded her of my request to the gentleman I had spoken to earlier and she said it would not be a problem. She brought the bag out to me with a rain cover over it so I assumed everything was in there that I asked for and already being rushed for my next engagement I took her word for it. Upon going up the stairs both my friend and I both hold her call me an extremely inappropriate name. I am glad the 5th Avenue store has more friendly and knowledgeable staff than these people because I have no intention of returning. Management from this location has not even reached out to me to provide me with the packaging I had requested or to apologize for this awful experience. Total embarrassment to the...

I came into the store with my mom to look at a men’s duffel bag for my brother in the downstairs area. When we entered, the sales associate greeted us and asked if we needed help and I said no we were just looking since I knew where it was. He proceeded to follow us downstairs watching us like a HAWK, not helpfully in case we had a question, but rather i’m in a manner as if we were going to steal something. I could literally feel his eyes on my back.

Visually, we were both casually yet well dressed, both wearing designer sneakers, I was wearing a well-known but subtle designer watch worth 10s of thousands of dollars as well as a designer bag.

I went to look at the duffel bag and the man asked me not to stand on the other side of the display case (it wasn’t even a sales desk) and I have seen several people stand behind there looking at items without an issue—including the last time we were there with my brother to purchase a $7k backpack. It was no problem until today when I guess a sales associate deemed my mother and I “suspicious”

My mom then went to use the restroom, which they then stopped her and claimed it “wasn’t working”. The sales associate was staring my every move up and down making me so uncomfortable that we decided to leave. Not that they would have know right away, but we had just spent over $6,000 there a couple of months ago. Yet, they were acting like we were executing a shoplifting operation. Safe to say I won’t be purchasing anything else from here in the future or recommending...
