The Ultimate Guide to Wandering the Streets of NYC - Save It Now!

Aptiques is a hidden gem here in NYC that everyone should visit. The collection in the store (and now online) is rare, exquisite and unique. For years, I was looking for an apothecary cabinet that had a specifically tall and narrow dimension. I searched high and low across the U.S. and never in my wildest dreams did I think I would find it in NYC at Aptiques—and for an affordable price no less. Not only did I buy the apothecary cabinet but on a later visit, I purchased two vintage midcentury Hubley cap guns in heavy metal from a larger collection of them—holsters and all. What drew me into the store initially was a giant black surf board with the Chanel logo placed prominently across the center of the board. When I walked in I was dazzled by the rare architectural salvage, photography, art, jewelry, objects d'art, vintage clothing, motorcycle jackets and a giant punching bag made out of a Louis Vuitton leather print among other many extraordinary things curated throughout the space! I just recently purchased a third vintage Hubley Colt 45 cap gun from the same collection as the two guns I purchased prior. Aptiques modified this Colt 45 Hubley with a Louis Vuitton print on the handle! To say that I'm over the moon with this unique piece is an understatement. I feel like the new Sheriff in town—the town of Luxuryville that is. This place is amazing and the owner is a gentleman and a professional with endless knowledge and passion for the things he has collected and is selling. Support the businesses that truly make New York City a unique place. Aptiques is definitely one of those places!

Authentic Pre-Owned is a Must-See-To-Believe shop in Soho. Even if I wasn't into hard-to-find and one-of-a-kind collectibles, this store is amazing for what knowledge Bobby (the owner) will dispense to the people who visit; every time I go in, I come out a smarter man! The store has collectible, vintage timepieces (some previously owned by well-known leaders); signage (American; European, etc.); luggage (think Hermes; Louis Vuitton...); vintage doll-head molds; fur coats...I have made several purchases from Bobby (see images of some items) and his eagerness to make a sale is part of the fun for me. All the items I have acquired from the shop are in amazing condition and arrive to me in the same condition as when I saw them and purchased them due to Bobby's fine care in packaging. I will be back to the store the next time I'm in Manhattan!!

A Hidden Gem for Unique Finds!

I had the absolute best experience shopping at Aptiques From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They truly take the time to curate an incredible selection of one-of-a-kind pieces, and their passion for what they do shines through in their customer service.

I found an item that I instantly fell in love with, and I was amazed at the mint condition it was in—it honestly felt like it had never been worn or used. The quality and care they put into their consignment process are unmatched. Whether you’re looking for designer pieces, vintage treasures, or something totally unique, this shop is a goldmine.

What sets them apart is the variety—every rack and shelf holds something special, and you never know what incredible piece you’ll come across. The thrill of finding a one-of-one item that feels like it was meant just for you is what makes shopping here such a joy.

If you love fashion, quality, and top-notch service, do yourself a favor and check them out. I’ll...

Racist business. My friends and I (all Asian, two Chinese one Turkish) were waiting for the brunch next door and while we were standing out there with a couple of other people (white), we thought to visit the store as we were attracted by the window display. The staff who was a white old bald dude had seen us out there. We went to the door and rang the bell, waited, then rang again, waited. We saw clearly that the owner saw us and knew we were at the door. Even the customers inside were pointing to the door telling him we were at the door, and he just stood there and ignored. My poor friend was like "did I do something wrong?". Of course to no surprise, he let the white people in. Please if you are this racist, stop the aggression, just put a sign at the door says "white Americans only, the rest will be judged and determined by the owner." Maybe Trump will fund you for that. I'll help you on social media letting people know so that you won't be bothered by Asian...
