A perfect place to go if you want your day ruined.
I just came in today with a friend, wanting to buy a ring or at least start the process toward buying one. Iām aware that the rings are hard to get and that you canāt just buy the one you want immediately.
My issue, though, is with the service. This store is as small as a bathroom, there were 3 people working here, and I could tell the second we walked in that this was not going to be a friendly experience.
I asked about specific rings (I did research on what I like before coming) and one guy pointed to the glass case. āWhat we have is all on display.ā Iām a size 11 and I asked if any of the rings available were around that size, and the guy just shook his head. OK, got it. So I asked: Should I go to the downtown store? The guy rolled his eyes and said āI donāt know anything about what stock the downtown store has.ā
So I asked if it would make sense for me to come back periodically ā showing Iām more than willing to wait. He shrugged and said, āItās a worldwide treasure hunt.ā Then he just stopped communicating and stood there, blankly. It was almost laughably awkward.
Again, I know the drill with Chrome Heartsā scarcity, but itās hard to explain just how disinterested the staff was in even speaking to me and my friend or engaging with us.
My recommendation is to avoid this store ā and possibly this brand ā unless you have some sort of inside connection. Itās very hot now, but when itās no longer as popular as it is now, they will probably wish they...
