James is deeply passionate about Park Slope and has so much knowledge to share about the history of the district. The tour he took us on started at the Old Stone House and wound through the streets along Prospect Park as he talked about the development of the neighborhood starting from the time of the original Lenape people. The research he’s done about Brooklyn really comes through when he pulled out maps of the original Lenape trails and how they overlapped with the later electric car trolleys!
