De Inkman Tattoo Studio — Local services in New York

I would not recommend going to this tattoo shop. Not only is service terrible my tattoo is scratchy and patchy.

The costumer service is sub par. When I walked in one of the artist was sitting in the extremely small waiting area and proceeded to ignore me and my group of friends so I didn't even think he was a tattoo artist, I though he was a customer waiting for his turn. It wasn't until another tattoo artist came to the waiting area that the guy sitting down started to ask us "what we wanted". When I started to tell him what I wanted and where, he proceeded to answer his cell phone and hold a conversation right in front of me as if we weren't even talking. Once I was able to talk to him and tell him what I wanted he ushered me into the shop area and did not say a word to me for the duration of the prep or the placement. I had to ask him what the price would be because he was planning to tattoo me without discussing pricing first. When the tattoo was done I was told to "keep the bandage on for a few hours and then reapply the gel" and that was all I received in terms of after care instructions.

I might have been able to ignore the horrible service if the work was good, but sadly that's not the case. My tattoo is very small and not very detailed so I am very surprised that it is scratchy and patchy. The more it heals the worse it looks, I am so disappointed. I'm going to have to get this touched up in the very near future.

Unfortunately had a bad septum piercing experience here and wouldn't recommend it. The piercing was painful and I was given no aftercare tips, which I searched on my own. After weeks healing, my nose pain was spreading to the tip of my nose and I had swelling along both sides internally. I went back for advice and was told nothing looked wrong with it and to use hydrogen peroxide and alcohol - 🚩something you should never do with piercings. I went to other piercers and was immediately told it was placed in the incorrect spot and I needed to remove it asap (the pain began to subside nearly right...

From when me and friends first got there the Tatto artist named MOHAMMED, was very standoffish and giving us one word answers to our questions. My issue with this artist is that he completely didn’t put any precision into my tatto me and my friends all got the same tatto yet my writing is smaller then there’s and my tatto is slanted and yet I paid full price like everyone else just receive TRASH service and TRASH work. WHAT WVER YOU DO, DO NOT LET MOHAMMED ABD HIS BAD ENERGY EVER TOUCH YOUR SKIN THIS IS SOMETHING I HAVE TO LIVE WITH AND ITS TRASH. HE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN AS SOON...
