More like a hospice...
My loved one died of covid in this facility and contracted it from that facility...
They put my bedridden love one into a shared room with a younger stronger patient that could walk and move around even though her insurance paid for a separate room because she was a high risk patient and needed very close attention..
Staff is non existent here and ignore her and many of the poor souls their... I witness it first hand... Poor souls and people trapped in that horrible blighted hospice screaming for help and staff across the hall laughing and ignoring them...
Its a hospice not a rehab center... Do not be fool...
I am not sure where they are getting all these positive reviews from... Probably paid for them or staff giving fake reviews...
I witness my own love one diaper not been change timely (we requested 3-4 times and staff member still came 1hr later), they left her to starve, they ignore her... Its was not only happening to my love one, it was happening to all the patients that were older and bed ridden and the patients that could physically move and were younger could help themselves and change their own clothes were okay I guess... I saw the horror in their eyes and sadness of the bedridden patients and its something I would never forget..
I know this because I happened to walked to other patients rooms while looking for my love one and trust me what I saw in the rooms I walked into was share horror... Most of the patients, I would say 95-97% were in similar condition as my love one and bed ridden..
Don't send your love of here if you want to see them again... I have seen patient called out help and even my love one for a long time and nurses and staff pass by them ignoring them...
God will hold all these horrible people accountable in the end (from the people who owns and run this facility those work there and knows what really goes on there and I am not sure how they sleep at night knowing they be judge one day and karma is coming)... They forget they will get old and their time will...
Read moreI have a close relative that was admitted here after having a stroke. Overall the staff was fairly friendly and did their job well. As a nurse myself and having worked in a nursing home before, I am aware of the things that go on in a nursing home and so I was very anxious about bringing my loved one here. But the anxiety has dropped. From a nurse's point of view, this is a good nursing home. The ONLY I would have to say that I don't like about here is that-as in most places- my relative wasn't being turned every two hours to prevent bed sores. As a result of his stroke, he was unable to move and relied heavily on the CNAs to turn him- they never did. He was very fortunate for not developing a bed sore. Now with the fantastic team of therapists that they have for rehab, he is improving in his mobility and can-with a bit of a struggle- turn himself. Overall I am satisfied with this facility and do not regret putting my loved one there.
So I will stay with my opinion about the nursing staff, they are good nurses and CNAs. But when it comes to the social workers.... its a whole different story. They lack communication among themselves. One of the will tell us one thing and the other will tell us something completely different. They also make it very obvious that all they are about is getting money from the insurance and getting rid of residents as quickly as possible just to get new residents for more money. One social worker in particular has been rude and doesn't understand the concept that somethings should be discussed in private. My sister had to set her straight about matters and since then she has been a bit more...
Read moreMy father was there February 2024, and I had to take him out of there, nurses did not respond to him at all, a nurse named Selwin from the second floor has a horrible horrible attitude, and should not be there period. When I asked him about giving my dad his meds he said he would come bring the medicine and two hours later he came in with the medicine and an attitude because I called Jake who is supposed to be in charge. He just left the pills on the desk and walked out of the room after saying to my Father rudely I told you I was going to bring the medicine and stormed out of the room. They seemed very short staffed and we couldn’t even get paper towels to wipe our hands because the receptacle in my dad’s room wasn’t working. There was no toilet paper in my dads room to wipe his tail, I told the lady the toilet paper isn’t coming out and if someone could fix it and she said it’s weekend and nobody is there, I told her my father is on the toilet how is he going to wipe his backside? She proceeded to make a call and then just handed me a box of...
