I'm back with another review, today I stopped by this establishment for something to drink. Nothing particular in mind just something to quench my thirst. I decided to the mango boba tea, what I thought would be a quick process turned out not only to be a long drawn out thing but it wasn't tasty or thirst quenching. First off I apparentlystoppedin when they were getting ready to close and instead of saying that they decided to take my $8+ order (1 large drink). There were two employees working, the young lady took my drink order and instead of telling me that they did NOT have any more prepared boba she asked her co worker to go get some (an uncooked bag). She then proceeded to put some mango puree in the blendtec with ice (weird I thought). Why would you blend it to then add the tea (which she had to brew)? So now I'm paying close attention to is happening the boba is boil, the tea is brewing and my puree and ice is blending. I watch the gentleman put the raw boba in a storage container which I saw him wash and dry but he never washed the lid which is filled with MOLD because when they do wash it they don't take out the rubber seal (zoom in on picture attached). Had I not gotten my boba out of the bag I would not have gotten the drink, anyways while they are taking their sweet time doing things for another customer and myself they are also washing dishes with no soap in sight. I get my drink a large ( I should have ordered a small) which was half foam from the blending and watched as the other half of my drink is poured down the drain (this place has a lot of wasted product). My boba was slightly under cooked and not sweetened, my drink was watery and tasteless. To day I was disappointed was an understatement, would I return not even if I was given a free drink and paid to drink it. Unfortunately this one is an epic failure and to think I spent 8...
Read moreI had a very disappointing and unsafe experience at Mug and Cup. During multiple visits, I noticed that the staff rarely wore masks or gloves, especially during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, my wife contracted COVID-19 shortly after visiting this place — we both believe it was due to their poor safety practices.
On top of that, I was consistently charged different prices for the same items, which felt dishonest and unprofessional. As a customer, I value consistency, hygiene, and respect — all of which were lacking here.
I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and improves both their hygiene standards and pricing transparency.
Until then, I would not recommend this...
Read moreYou pay for this expensive cup then more for a large size and more if you want oat milk just to get a cup full of HARD tapioca pearls which stop you from drinking the little bit of drink you have because it got stuck in the straw, Then as I continued to drink it it taste more like milk than the flavors that I bought same for the smoothies. And wasn’t very tasting bought the mango, berry (which tasted like just banana, taro, and the only drink that was not to bad was the...
