I was going to write a long, detailed review about how awful my experience with Jeong was but instead I'll give this review about as much care and attention as he gave me: little to none.

I traveled from quite far away to see Jeong, who I found on Instagram. I sent pictures in advance and paid my deposit; I did all the right things. Long story short, when I got to the salon, he talked me out of the red hair I wanted and suggested I go ash brown. After that, he walked away and never came back. Literally. His assistants dyed my hair black and Jeong was nowhere to be found. He literally never even looked in my direction the entire 5+ hours I was there. After I complained about my experience and the black hair I specifically said I did not want, Jeong's behavior was childish and unprofessional at best. He not once offered to fix my hair and eventually told me to stop messaging him because he was not going to reply. I asked for the salon owner's information and he would not give it to me. I am shocked, angry, and appalled. Every day I look in the mirror at this black hair I never wanted, I am reminded of this terrible experience.

This by far has been the worst experience I've had at a hair salon in a long time and I will definitely not...

qiu is seriously the best hair artist i know. i've had lots of hair stylists in the past, and i usually just jump around from place to place depending on who has a special deal or not.

when i saw qiu's work on instagram, i decided to try once and then probably need to find a new hair stylist but i was WRONG.

the amount of care, precision and perfection qiu puts into his work is second to none. i have NEVER had anyone take the time to really analyze what i want and then make it come true. when i saw the results, i was so stunned. to this day, i go to to the brow/lash studio to get my eyebrows and facial done, and everyone always tells me how great my hair looks and that "my hair stylist is really good and knows what they're doing"

i will always trust qiu with my hair, and i'm always so happy with how amazing he makes my hair look, and therefore how amazing i feel afterwards.

Loved the work that was done by Alph Qiu! I came in for coloring - I already had some previous balayage done on my hair but I wanted to go a bit darker for a more natural look. The salon is very clean and the assistants were so polite and gentle.

I loved that Qiu was personally working on my hair when compared to most other salons, the assistants would be spending the majority of the time instead. He was very detailed and patient with my hair and understood exactly what I wanted - the final outcome came out even better than what I was expecting!

Will definitely be coming back for future...
